I suffer with my mental health alot it's a roller coaster ride but just take your time with it all. Glad though you are on the road to feeling a bit more better. Take care xx

Thank you for sharing your struggles, I'm currently waiting on a referral to a phycologist for the same issues. I hate how I look/feel just now, and it's caused me to barely eat lately 😔 its nice to know I'm not alone in it all. So glad your feeling better now, and glad to see you back looking happier in yourself again. Xx

I've grown up with rabbits all my life currently have splodge who's just turned eight more like a dog in his attitude and loves to play fetch and will run off with tissue or paper given a chance! 😂🐇 I've been in anorexia recovery since 15 I'm 25 now and fully get what you mean about filming and your weight I just put it black and white now that I'm lucky to be alive when so many would love to still be here and try to keep going best I can 💖

I miss the jelly belly vibes but honestly I just love it when you keep it real, positive body image vibes yay 😀

Awww your gerbils are adorable, love the names! I have two girl gerbils called Honey and Bolt, I have the same colourful cage as you do but want to get one of the glass ones so they can properly dig. Also thank you for being so honest with your struggles, I'm glad you decided to stay. I completely relate to gerbils helping your mental health too as I live alone, I talk to them all the time haha!

Hi Gem, sorry to hear your struggling. I honestly first watched your videos because you made me feel better about my own normal body. I was so fed up seeing ‘perfect’ and unattainable bodies and your channel showed me we can all look fabulous and enjoy clothes without needing to be a size 0. I appreciate how hard it must be to have a job where the focus is solely on how clothes look on you but just want you to know I think you look absolutely awesome and always inspire me to try and look my best x

Wow! Watched your vids for awhile, but didn't know about Zuess and Sunny. Aren't they great companions? I'm 3 times your age, and have had about 40 gerbils thru the years. They were all so unique and fun to watch. T.C.

Sorry to hear the body issues creeping up. But please believe me and everyone else when we say you are stunning. Nothing wrong with your body. But nobody can tell you how to feel. These insta models are fake, they have filters and they are edited. The damage these so called insta models create is disgusting. Check out Stephanie Lange she has a whole series on this subjects. She does not shame anyone, just shows what they look like without the filters!!! Leo is adorable and your body made him. Have a wonderful Sunday ❤

Gem, your body is your body. It evolves and it changes as we evolve and change. We are not separate from it. Our bodies are the vessel through which we can connect ourselves to the ones we love and the land around us. We have to be just as thoughtful and considerate to ourselves as we are to those around us. You're a lovely woman with lots of interests- you used to speak so passionately about music. As Leo grows, why not explore that side of yourself more. Fulfill all aspects of yourself- not just the fashion and clothing side. 💕

Gerbils were the only pets we had growing up , we called them Pixie & Dixie and they had loads of babies , yours are lovely colours though

I used to have gerbils and hamsters . And don't leave RU-vid but your mental health does come first . Animals are very therapeutic.

I'm so sorry you are struggling and think you are very brave to share this on YT, not the most supportive environment. For what it's worth, I think you'rs gorgeous.

I’ve watched you for years, don’t think I’ve ever commented tho, firstly I just want to say your a gorgeous stunning girl, who has a beautiful body, you should be proud of what you are doing as it helps people more than you know sometimes with their own image. Social media, mags tv etc have forced this idea of what’s acceptable and what’s not on females for years and it’s really time for it to stop. I’ve struggled big time with my body image ever since I was wee, I was always big chested at school so I had to deal with wearing 38DD bras in first year, then when I left school I started putting on weight when I got a job as I wasn’t as active as I was, I was fat and big busted, then I got I’ll with ulcerative colitis and lost a lot of weight, I thought oh people will like me now as I’m skinny, but it was ewww ur too skinny ur like a bag of bones so when I started to put weight back on with steroids and medications I felt better for a while, then I had to have an operation due to my bowel rupturing so cue massive scar running right along the middle of my body, I was called names, I didn’t want to wear clothes that showed my midriff cause you could see the scar, fast forward 20 years and now after more surgery and ending up with a stoma bag, people look at me and u can see the disgust if I’m in a bikini on a beach, or if I’m wearing a swimming costume, so I hide my body in baggy shapeless clothes. That was until I started watching yourself and a few others on RU-vid and the messages of self healing self love and being proud of your body that comes from yourself and other RU-vidrs who like you are just ordinary people, mums, single ladies, older ladies have made me realise that i don’t need to care about what others think of me, the only opinion that should matter is my own! I’m not gonna sit here and say every day is a good day and due to recent hospital admissions of 2 weeks I have struggled with mental health, I’m not ashamed to admit it, and no one should be! We all need to help each other out and for some people just coming on RU-vid and listening to someone talk about primark clothes that might just be enough to make them smile and feel good. Ps I know what you mean about gerbils, I was allowed to get a cat at Xmas and he just makes me feel better when I’m feeling down or like crying, there’s something relaxing about a cats purr 😻 Hope your ok!
