For the people crushed by the Breaking Bad spoiler, you deserve an Olympic medal for managing to avoid it all this time. I was spoiled on it before I even went to bed that night, and I have no interest in the show.
The video's purpose was to show a review of one's Facebook of the last few years it has been up, so it was referencing someone spoiling the episode the day it was released, not a recent event. I understand that some people were disgruntled from the "spoiler" but if they hadn't caught up to season 4 in 2 years of it being aired, then maybe it was a good thing that they saw it. That's like telling someone who "A" is for Pretty Little Liars even though the books have been out for at least 6 years... I've never seen the show, but I remember hearing who it was back in 9th grade in 2008 from someone doing a book review. If I posted it on Facebook, I'm sure there would still be people who got mad but it's been out for so long that they should be caught up already.
Self Importance/bragging is just part of the message in this video. It is more about the distorted image that facebook presents to us of our friends and family on facebook. And how these images of people makes us feel inferior to them and thereby push us to distort our image on facebook even more. All so we can feel better about ourselves.

This is more sad than honest. Sad you would accept friends that you later regret. Sad that you see Facebook as such a horrible experience when most of us see it as one of the things to look forward to the most . Facebook doesn't knock on your door, call your phone like a bill collector and makes you join. Nowhere is it mandatory to be a member and some people poison the experience so much they are like a cancer. Tripp and Tyler you should reconsider your decision to be a member. Personally I have the strength not to be a member of any group that makes me unhappy and most importantly never regretted a friendship I've ever made.

Facebook is very useful when you are abroad for keeping in touch with your friends. Using facebook I found people from my country when I come to Germany, using facebook I found house to live. Using facebook I get involved in different events of the university. But it's like a fire. You can cook a meal or you can burn your house. You have to know limits. Don't be addicted...
To those complaining about the breaking bad spoiler the episode in question happened literally years ago. If you haven't made the effort to see it by now it's your own fault.

I'm 28 and I'm going to be honest. It's usually the young women on FB who posts stupid pics and statuses. Most of the men on my friends list network and post information that's actually worth reading.
I clicked that feature and made my little Facebook-Movie ...I forget how many times the "F"-word came up, either in messages I shared, or items that had the "F"-word on/in them LOL!
Facebook is also for smart people, those who lost all care of whats going on and scroll to see funny pics/videos posted by a page you liked when you first joined, but still get a tickle from everyones bad days and give a head nod for those good days that other people post that you honestly feel indifferent about. Yes theres still a place on facebook for a behind the scenes, post an update twice a year type person, and that my friends is why my account is still active.

For those complaining, I am a Facebook member who is part of the baby boomer generation. That said, I am a tech-savvy educator and I joined FB early on, in 2007, not long after it was opened to the general public. Like many of you younger generation people, I have been through many FB changes and I was sometimes frustrated, irritated, disappointed, etc. by them, but all things considered, FB has brought some wonderful things into many, many people's lives. In my case it has: 1) allowed me to reconnect with the best friend with whom I held hands walking off to the first day of kindergarten decades ago; 2) enabled me to reconnect with cousins who live at distant places and with whom I was never able to develop a close relationship, enabling us to finally get to know one another and participate at some level in each others' lives; 3) enabled me to "meet" -- at least digitally -- the children of these cousins and to participate at some level in their lives; 4) reunited me with wonderful old friends from neighborhoods in which I once lived in a state where I once lived; 5) made it possible for me to revisit meaningful places through shared photos and shared conversations, thereby putting long lost memories within my grasp once again; 6) made it possible for me to reunite my high school class which had been out of touch for at least 20 years; 7) makes it possible for me to see and derive enjoyment from some of the beautifully artistic things that are shared; 8) enabled me to reconnect and stay in contact with former students, some of whom I taught decades ago; what a pleasure to see the paths their lives have taken. This is just a partial list; I could continue to list the good things FB achieves/enables/ makes possible, including providing some nostalgic reminiscing via these individual videos you are parodying. I have watched a number of them and find them to be an uplifting tribute to the sheer diversity and strength of people and the human experience. Of course, for the father whose video plea with FB for his recently deceased son's video went viral, the FB video is just one little tangible thing to hold onto as evidence that his son existed and led a life that meant something. I actually don't have a problem with Tripp and Tyler because parody is a worthy form of humor and the time/energy they utilized to create their parody reflects some creativity and initiative. But to those of you who are simply whining about how "stupid," and "worthless," you think FB is or how much time it sucked out of your life because you made a choice to allow it to, I would encourage you to think again. Unless you have the smarts and skills and motivation and work ethic to create something that has the ability to give as much to people as FB has -- and give it without charge too -- I have to say, "Really? Really? What a small world you live in and how thoughtless you are!!"

I feel horrible that I got sucked into watching this stupid video. Thankfully, I can console myself by the fact that I have not been sucked into creating a Facebook account. Even as screwed up and invasive as Facebook really is, is it really possible to have liked something on Facebook 5 years ago when you have yet to be a Facebook member for 4 years ? He was probably exaggerating about the 5 years. I didn't think the video was pointless, because it makes people who aren't on Facebook (like us) feel better. On the other hand, RU-vid can be a big time-waster too!

ur making FB look bad from the young generation point of view. while FB is pretty helpful for older people who use it as a need of getting in touch w/family members from across the globe. its a 50/50, depends how u use it.

I never got the whole FB thing. I never cared to make an acct.. But since it's everywhere I was actually obligated to make an acct (that I never use) just so that I can play some apps on my phone or get freebies. I never cared to make my life, or whatever version of the life I want people to think I have, be made public. Always been private.

Very disappointed by the dig at political posts. Different perspectives on public policy and world events are the MOST important things you can share with people you know. I suspect most of your subscribers are relatively young and probably do not realize what a bleak future they stand to inherit if they remain completely apathetic about politics.

This was a very self-centered video. I was expecting more of a People Are Beautiful type video where you'd show information about facebook humans could relate to. This is only going "viral" because someone paid enough to have it featured on the RU-vid Homepage.
