Here is a tip I figured out by chance. Display a relic in your yard, like a statue. You will get tons of social points from everyone admiring the relic daily. You do not have to do anything. I am getting +14 from any folk almost daily. Cheers
That's the dumbest logic I've ever heard. I bought My time at Portia on Switch, it was brilliant and fun. I bought My time at Sandrock thinking it would be fun, it's not. To me, the game is boring. I'm not even going to bother bringing up the bugs because I don't care. Those bugs are not the reason why I'm going to return the game. If you enjoyed the game, fine. But don't discredit other just because they bought it on the switch.
As a PC and console player, I don't have the same glitches or issues as you, but its good to see why not to get a swtich. A lot of the games I like are available on switch, and I would like to get a handheld system. More and more games on switch seem to be bad. I wanted to get a switch cause I wanted to try out animal crossing. I love dinkum, coral island, Sandrock and Palia but in all of those games, the switch version seems to be a problem. I think I would prefer a steam deck or something else instead of switch. TY for this review
It's strange because we know that the Switch is capable of pretty impressive graphics (like in BOTW/TOTK) but then there are games like this and even Pokemon that are just... not great.. I have no idea why.
I bought it for the switch and was absolutely fine until I saw pc gameplay.. don’t have a pc but bought it for the ps5 and wow. Wish I found it there first.
The controllers are way easier on PC. I agree that it is not a super intuitive game, especially if you never played Portia so the frist playthrough can be a bit longer. But the story is just amazing and after spending over 100 hours in game (and still haven't finish it) I can say it is worth it ;).
I'm glad to hear that! I mean, it's what I expected. It was probably designed with PC in mind and consoles as an afterthought. But I agree that the story is really fun ^^b
thank you for your video! i ended up trying this game out and frankly I cant get past some things. The art direction and creative quality is just --- bad? off putting? low-qual? old school without the asetheic nostalgic good feeling? graphics in this game just look like trash even on PC.
I wasted my money and bought this on the switch just last week, I wish I had seen your video prior. It is disappointing to not be able to see descriptions of items and getting to a 2nd page when I see that little R. My plan is to get a PC by end of year but this game looks like it could be good. Do you know if any progress made on the switch, if it will save and transfer over to a PC? I am trying to make something work with this purchase. Thank you😊
While I haven't watched a lot of Sandrock I can already tell I'd enjoy the mining. It's different enough from other sims so it's not as repetitive going down 10 levels. And while I'm not getting the game right now due to backlogs I'm definitely getting it on PC
The mining is definitely the selling point for me. I heard it's like other life sims, too, in which there are multiple mines that you'll get to later on. I'm curious to see if they look different!
I love the details on the townsfolk and how alive the town feels in this. I play with mouse and keyboard on PC so now I need to log in to see if there is space in chests I didn't know about, because what!?
On PC you see a tiny blue arrow left of your storage space, so it's more obvious than console. Also you only get 2 pages of storage on the large storage box (white with green) which can be bought from the mysterious man only
I don’t know how y’all feel about the graphics about this game on the PC , but um based on what I’ve seen it really looks really blurry. But The Switches Version of it is way better than the PC Version of it. But this is how I really see it as. But when talking about Pen i find what he said at first is an insult to our in game arms. But he really should have a class for how to grow our strength for our in game arms.
