Ravnica remastered? It felt like we were just there on that plane. Does Wizards really need to print another remastered set when we have tons of planes and other places we havent visited yet, but have been mentioned on cards? Kinda feels like creativity is gone with the pressure from Hasbro to print money hand over fist and all the layoffs. Hopefully just a conspiracy theory, but game kinda feels like its dying right now.

In the game against Sheoldred at 13:20, you did have a potentially winning line. Crew with the Siren, hit for 7, Schooner's explore before Breeches' impulse draw in case there was a land or other irrelevant card (there was), and then if Breeches topdecked a bolt you'd win.

Shuffler is fine. Hand smoothing is B.S. and unfairly helps aggro. Matchmaking is what’s truly broken.

No Roaming Throne? Is a 4 drop just honestly too slow nowadays? Because addition suggestions should come with removal suggestions - the R 1 drop doesn't seem consistent enough to be worth it I haven't watched the video yet though.

Tribal has been so fun with Roaming Throne. I slapped it into a Selesnya Warrior/+1+1 counter tribal deck 😂

I’m tired enough of Sheoldred to be simply watching Standard at this point. I’m hopeful this Pirates Kindred Tempo deck has legs. No rotation is going to kill Standard.

As I saw recently, to err is human, but to "Arrh" is pirate.

"Three removal spells, one Sheoldred" describes every black deck I've played in the last year or so. Riveting deck building. It's like people just don't like to have fun. I personally can't imagine just sitting there, turn after turn, playing removal after removal then dropping Shelly and hoping she wins me the game.

I remember playing MTGO and got into an argument with the developers on how dumb their shuffler was for giving me consistently 4-6 lands or 1-0 lands a hand, it seems having a realistic shuffler is the hardest part of online magic.

Having the lands screwed up is very common nowadays even with the most balanced or overpowered decks. I see it as a forced loss which is made by the end of the developers to give everyone a winning chance by making the other person lose deliberately by screwing up their land drops.. Just what I felt after thousands of matches with several of your given decks which mostly had 50-60% wins.. except the ones with mill combo with a bit of board control. That deck works mostly because of its core control nature. I'll make this fun pirate deck 🎉 Stuck in platinum 1 🥺

This deck is great helped me get to Mythic today and is so filun with all the treasures tricks and synergies and yes, FLAVOR!

Anyone that has played arena long enough knows that after a few wins in a row you will get mana screwed no matter how many times you mulligan. Probably to balance out wins and losses to keep people engaged and shopping for wildcards. I don’t think it’s that far fetched

This deck played beautifully for me today. Never had bad hands and draws itself out of trouble. I played 3 Breeches and usually found him.

If there were Izzet fast lands in Standard this deck would be so elite

CGB can you play some more timeless please? Ideally something like Nexus that doesn’t have to run bowmasters but can still counter bowmasters?

Nice! Pirates have been my go to deck for last month. I’d suggest some of the following cards/changes: - roaming throne: for some reason most pirate decks I’ve seen aren’t Including this and i literally don’t know why. It makes captain storm, kitesail, staunch crew mate,and diamond pick axe sooooo good. - diamond pick axe: triggers twice with throne. Ramp and good synergy with Zoetic glyph (5/4 indestructible creature). Also great synergy with soul cleaver. - Tarrians soul cleaver: this card is so slept on. any time you use a treasure or map or a creature dies for you OR opponent you get a counter AND it gives vigilance. - eaten by piranhas: great threat removal. Would be better if it was an artifact but I just love how it has flash. Bait an attack and then destroy them. - planar incision: protection, and can retrigger abilities- namely on roaming throne, kitesail, etc. - saheeli, suns brilliance: triggers captain storms abilities and can give some serious combos. Really deadly if used right. - dollhouse of horrors: another super slept on card. This card is insane with the deck. It brings back creatures for only 1 mana and as an artifact triggering lots of abilities. Must have imo. - zephyr singer: gives your pirates flying. Gotta love it. -syr ginger: non pirate, but with all the treasure your accumulating and using you get free scrys and counters. Plus he’s an artifact. - loadstone needle: mixed feelings on this one. Artifact with flash so gives temp protection, and can give a counter with storm out. Crafted let’s you explore for only 1 each turn. Ok card. Please try this deck out, It really turns into combos galore! I’ll be looking for a remake of the pirate deck!

Honestly schooner is just the omenkeel but with 1 more toughness. Strange how schooner it gets so much more play
