The yellow pottery vase could be Zanesville. You might do a video about the few pieces that need paint removal and show us the afters and your efforts to remove the paint. I’d watch it! 🙂
I found a 1980’s larger size pagoda shape Haeger Pottery lamp years ago. All the lamp parts had been removed. Someone had used a textured white paint on it. I soaked it for quite some time in soapy water. It was easy to peel the paint. The lamp revealed was a beautiful turquoise crackle paint look. So puzzling what people do to items. A talented artist friend really loved the lamp. It’s now in a happy new home with someone who appreciates its natural beauty. 😊
In the beginning of this video, that white plate from Germany with the beautiful flowers & reticulated edge was beautiful!! You said, don't see much value in it & didn't pick it up. I wish you would have gotten it! I loved it, some of your devoted fans like me, don't have lots of money to buy the really pricey items & would love to be able to buy some beautiful other items that are more reasonable like you used to pick up. I know you have to make money but you could still flip these for more than you paid & give your followers a thrill to buy from you. 😊 I've been watching you since you used to shop with Sue back a few years ago & love what I've learned from you & am so proud of your accomplishments since then!! And your precious family has grown & been able to move into that wonderful home with the beautiful property! Way to go!! I know you and Andrew have worked very hard for everything. By the way I also think your Mom & Dad are so sweet. Hope your Dad is feeling better & his health is improving. Happy New Year to all!!
I liked the white ceramic corn on the cob dishes. I would also use them to serve coney dogs, tacos, or burritos. I would clean the silver plate cake stand and use as a riser for my silver plated teapot, creamer, and sugar.
@lynnhoffman247 I've started traveling a little further to check out other city's Goodwills and thrift stores. Bring some snacks and make a day of it!❤
Love shopping with you! A hint for the future. There isn't a thing called a candlestick holder. . They are candlesticks that you find without their wax candles. A candle is just a candle.
Yes, candlestick or candle holder both hold candles. No such thing as a candlestick holder as candlesticks don't need to be held, only candles need to be held.
I saw in the news that these companies were filing bankruptcy in 2023-Instant Pot, launched in 2010, and Pyrex, launched in 1915, Instant Brands' portfolio of brands includes: Corelle, Snapware, the bakeware group CorningWare, Chicago Cutlery and the Visions cookware firm. Not sure if they will be bought out or if that is the end of some pretty great products 😢
At 9:53 there was a Longaberger utensil holder next to the duck canister that you picked up. I always grab anything Longaberger, especially at the thrift store near me. The people pricing it have no idea what it is, so I’ve found tons of Longaberger baskets and pottery for under $5.
The blue star shaped column candle holder looks exactly like one of my set of three. They're Fitz and Floyd graduated christmas tea light holders, but i even put mine out for the 4th of July. My Mom gifted me mine in the early 80s. ✌
Jocelyn 😊been watching for years and just want you to know the warm fuzzy feeling comes from you how you handle yourself your family your merchandise your business and your friends in public and on RU-vid. You are wonderful fun and enjoyable 😍
My sister and I saw Motif #1 in Rockport MA. They say it has been in more art images than any other building. We came home and noticed that my Mom had a wooden artwork piece featuring Motif #1 on her wall. Amazing coincidence.
9:46 Interesting how the goodwill sticker was UNDER the Sebastian sticker. Hope they aren’t in the habit of trying to remove any original stickers before putting stuff on the floor. Probably trying to make sure no one switched prices but weakened the original for sure.
I wish you would have chosen the small yellow creamer with white interior to sell with the similar blue creamer you chose first. I like them as a pair.
I know people were probably holding their breath watching you pack that laundry basket. I do the sams w/o packing, but if you do need something, those Amazon bubble envelopes are great for quick & dirty moving. I always save them.
Not interested in the Publix Pilgrims gravy boat at 7:54? I live somewhere where we don’t have Publix so I think they are neat. I bought the S&P shakers at my Goodwill for a couple of bucks.
Have you ever thought of having a quilted blanket made for you with your logo embroidered on it to use for your thrifting outings so much so safer so you dont get chip on your good ya find just a thought
Well, that’s a unique take on the “please pad your cart” comment! I guess if she was always breaking and chipping stuff in her cart, I might understand everyone’s concern but she doesn’t 🤷♀️. I wonder, do you have padding that you take inside a store when you will be buying breakables? Really curious.
@@ellenmoon1787 thank you for receiving my question in the context it was asked. So many people admonish her for not padding her cart but it’s not like she breaks things ever. So I was curious if other shoppers do this. I don’t. Im just careful. But I think if she did pad a cart, creating a marketable image is an original thought. 😊
@mamaG4 I've seen other Bigger reseller do that with a padding blanket made for them I enjoy watching the reseller alot they do a great job waiting for the huge snow storm to hit in a few hours
My Goodwill store is very overpriced and they have staffers in the back who are well-trained in spotting things of value that are sold separately under lock and key Iocked in Glass cabinets.
Ours charge for them. Goodwill used to wrap breakable items AND give you a plastic bag. No more. It is bring your own bag or shell out for those. Just shows they no longer care about the customer. I rarely go there any more.
@@andreaschmall5560 I agree. I think the District app was unprepared for the activity that CLL would bring. I have also already suggested these interactive upgrades between sellers and buyers to the site. I actually saw your post in the chat. I hope you got the help you needed. They are trying. It is a work in progress!
