It looks more Punjabi wedding than the Mithila wedding. It looks modern maithili vivah. Mithila vivah is the most decent wedding. Btw after 5 min it was very good.

Yes bro😊. We Maithils are very different from Bhojpuri people. Still, many people outside Bihar are completely unaware about our language, food and culture. For them Bihar is all about vulgar bhojpuri songs, litti chokha, lalu yadav, illiteracy etc. Many non-Biharis even think that Bihari is a caste or ethnicity which is wrong. Actually, Bihar is a highly diverse state. Non-Biharis have a very narrow idea about our state. Our Maithil culture is very underrated outside Bihar. Anyway, I am proud to be Maithil. Jai Mithila.

@@purubiya No one is raising any question on Bhojpuri culture. It is just that Bhojpuri is too overrated and mainstream as compared to other cultures from Bihar. So we non-Bhojpuris have to experience this strange behaviour from non-Biharis when we step out of the state. Which we don't like. They expect us to know bhojpuri and sing bhojpuri songs. They think that bhojpuri is the mother tongue of all biharis. Which is not true. Why should everyone from Bihar know bhojpuri? We have our own language and we know that. That's enough.

Mithila ek region hai jo ki north aur east Bihar mein padta hai aur Nepal tak faila hua hai. Yahan ke logon ko Maithil kehte hain. Hamari apni alag bhasha hai Maithili.
Shadi ke vidhi ko bahut jaldi jaldi dikhaya gya hai. Mithila me barati ke bhojan ke mahol ke bina shadi ki kalpana nahi ho sakti wo aapne dikhaya hi nahi.
No dowry... I m girl's brother and have arranged everything at this scale because no dowry was there.. I also didn't take any dowry in my wedding..mithila is getting dowry free now
One must differentiate between streedhan and dowry. In mithila, streedhan is traditionally in kind. Moreover this is mithila dowry is not as big a problem as in south bihar
