An Imagery Basemap that works for Thematic Maps 

Really great, never thought of doing this. I think I would prefer offering this basemap to users over the regular imagery.

This is so awesome! I ended up removing the drop shadow on the Bathymetry layer because it was very abrupt when I added it. Yours seemed perfectly soft. I had the same setting but not sure what happened. I think without the drop shadow the water pops a little more. Thanks for the awesome videos I have learned so much.

Using dashed lines for country borders and solid lines for state borders is an interesting symbology choice.

Hi John! Thanks for the video. When I export the map to a PDF, the outputted map loses all of the effects and colour blends. Is there any way around this?

Is it possible on Arcgis Pro?

I know some of this can be accomplished in ArcGIS Pro - I think it's just the effects that are missing? Or have I missed something? Another inspiring video - thanks, John!
