An Impromptu Musical Moment in Lausanne Cathedral 

When I visited the Lausanne Cathedral, the choir was practicing and it was an incredible surprise and so angelic. I am not sure if it is a regular practice but if so would make a great Rick's Tip in your book!

It was St. Augustine who said when you sing you pray double. If Martin Luther said it, he was merely quoting something that was said more than 500 years before.

Thumbs down to these cathedrals billions of times. I understand their cultural value...but a simple tree is worth much, much more. Sorry.
