Love Shelley Winters and all her movies! When she joined Roseanne as Roseanne's grandmother, I was so excited! She didn't disappoint! When your mother the great Debbie Reynolds joined as Dan's mom it was freaking great! 💞💗💞

I love Jordan’s channel too. He has a great personality. Even when he’s covering a subject that I don’t find all that interesting he makes it interesting by finding the most entertaining way to talk about it. He’s talented. I’m so happy that he’s found a lovely woman and proposed. Mazel Tov.

Nooo, I don't want this to be over! I wanted to watch this ever since you made it. Facebook Live & I never have become friends...I've yet to get to watch anything on it. I can't explain how thrilled I was last week to find out that you are now on RU-vid!! I discovered RU-vid right before COVID-19. I remember Peter Tork, from the Monkeys had just past away & I wanted to read up on his life & I Googled his name & Jordan the lion came up. I watched it, then watched a few more videos & I've been watching ever since!!! I can't tell you how happy I am that your two worlds collided, my Love of Debbie Reynolds, meets Daze With Jordan The Lion!!! Right now I'm going through Radiation treatments everyday, man, you definitely made my SUMMER by posting this, Im smiling right now, and I can't stop...THANK YOU!!! 🤗 Still smiling!!! 😁

I came to RU-vid during Covid too. I went to a Monkee Reunion concert after Davy gone. I've gone to many concerts that was the happiest, energetic, positive show I've ever been to. They honored Davy SO brilliantly. My hope is when my time comes I go like Davy. I'm a horse owner & ❤,myself so it's a beautiful, comforting way to go IMO among the most magical, intuitive & loving creatures on the planet.

Wonderful video. I loved hearing all the stories about Shelly and old Hollywood. I found out about Jordan from one of his videos about him going to visit Al Jolson's and Shelly's graves. They both are buried at the same cemetery not too far apart. You can tell how much Jordan loves Shelly. Thank you for the lovely video.

One thing that many don’t mention about women in this day is that they have to work DOUBLE as hard to be taken seriously than half a man could. That was an era that pit women against each other because “there could be only one.” Debbie was sweet and fun, but she was strong as steel. Shelly was a hoot, but she was strong as steel. It’s wonderful to hear how both were pioneers in their field but they stayed true to who they are. They don’t make ‘em like that anymore!

I love Jordan's videos. I came across his RU-vid channel one day when I was watching James Dean videos and I saw he had done one on his gravesite. I've been watching him since, which was around 2017-18. He is a really cool person and has a nice personality and when I found out he knew Shelley Winters, I thought that was really neat because I liked her in Roseanne and hadn't seen her in anything else but I love the golden age of Hollywood. This was a very good interview. Thanks for making it!

There is great detail in these interesting Hollywood stories. I enjoyed watching. I saw Debbie Reynold's last performance in Las Vegas at the Southpoint Casino. Carrie and Todd came out at the end of the show. I am not sure about Marilyn riding on James Dean's motorcycle with Shelly Winters. I have never read that Marilyn even met James Dean.

What a treat it was to learn of your channel only yesterday. Debbie & Carrie I absolutely adored! IDebbie was one class act! I've enjoyed several of yr videos & looking forward to more. Just dubbed to Jordans channel too. I've always felt like I was born in the wrong time. Thanks for bringing such, personal, true & genuine stories of these truly incredible talented souls we've been blessed to have loved & enjoyed in our lives. I really think Todd either your Mom or Carrie brought me to this channel. I had your Moms autobiography on my playlist for at least yr now. I out of blue decided to start it last pm & feel asleep to it then find your channel. So 🤣my Mom in law recently passed I have her cassette copy of Do it Debbies Way! Maybe I should start her routine! Night of the Hunter my favorite film especially Halloween. The cinematography sequence of kids on the river absolutely stunning believe that was Charles Laughton that directed.

Debbie was an Aries, Shelley was a Leo. Either they're going to be the best of friends or the worst of enemies. It sounds like they were a little of both. At any rate, it was fun watching Jordan discussing Shelley. And she was brilliant. RU-vid has the last of John Garfield's movies named He Ran All The Way, co-starring Shelley. He was great in it, but so is she. She played a character not vastly different from her character in A Place in the Sun, only she's the one left alive. And she was really good. I was another one who remembers her death scene in Night of the Hunter, and it haunted me for YEARS. She was also a lot of fun on talk shows. Is it safe to say she left an indelible mark on show business?

Interesting that when Todd mentions several people who can "switch hats" (Eastwood, Redford, Howard) he's not talking about method actors who dig really deep. IMO if a person makes the character believable the person who doesn't "go crazy" is a good actor anyway, but I do remember how Ellen Burstyn won an Oscar over Gena Rowlands (who had a nervous breakdown in the film for which she was nominated) and I couldn't believe it. But Hepburn, after her very early years, ALWAYS played Hepburn playing whatever character it was and I didn't think she deserved all the Oscars she was given. The 70s jaded me to the BS of who's going to win.
