fun thing is the bedtimes story at 21:09 is actually mixed from two real german bedtime stories into a horrorstory. the first is about a cook starving to death and the second about a tailor removing bodyparts of childreen with a scissor, there is nothing more relaxing to german kids than a good bedtime story before sleeping.
It's not all that terrible. If you actually use the Baldichan's Blessing she gives you it removes the debuff, and simultaneously boosts your poise by a substantial margin for a bit. Very good if you're having trouble with an enemy that attacks multiple times in rapid succession.
The fact this video is simultaneously utterly incomprehensible while still being easy to understand and follow what's going on is a testament to Maxor's growth as an editor and writer.

Max0r deserves a phd in filmmaking. His story telling, attention grabbing and humor are superior to almost all netflix, he should be the CEO of Disney.
I love how due to the lore they couldn't put a lot of dragons in the Souls games so with Elden Ring they were like "FINALLY WE CAN USE DRAGONS" and put like 50 in the game

The Elden Ring video review market is oversaturated, yet Maxor through sheer force of will, ADHD medication, Tesla microchips in his frontal lobe and a few sacrifices to the dark powers. Is able to ascend into a new plain of epileptic and cardiac arrest inducing levels of content. Also, he absolutely nails the feel of each boss through editing that could be considered as a deadly weapon against anyone over 30.
I can imagine Maxor sitting in front of his screen and recording equipment, reading out the script as he tries to not die from hysterical laughter every time he has to joke. 10/10

My favorite part about Starscourge Radahn is that you can summon Patches into the fight, but he takes one look at Radahn and immediately disconnects because even he knows that kicking that boy down a hole isn't going to go well.

Dear God, Max0r made Radahn's boss fight go from badass, to absolute epic with his choice of music. For all the comedy he's making some absolutely amazing stuff here that's just breathtaking.
I fucking love 25:45. He legit made some pics of it looking like video game events. In the right pic, he made it look like the other festival members are game contestants.
The brilliance of Max0r’s genre(?) of video is that you can watch it 5 times over and still find content you missed from the other times. This boosts his view count remarkably, allowing his influence to skyrocket.
Back when this first came out it, I only just discovered Max0r. Now a year later I still keep rewatching it. These videos are master pieces and just keep getting better everytime he releases a new one.

It's a testament to the greatness and ingenuity of Max0r as a creator that you can experience his content in three different ways, first by looking at it, then by listening to it and finally by combining the two into the ultimate experience.
YES 🙌 it took me 45 minutes to watch this video because I had to keep pausing it so my baby brain could keep up. What’s even more impressive is more than half of his visual memes are fully original in execution. Not only does he expertly utilize existing formats; Max0r evolves them into their purest form. This is our renaissance and he is our Da-Vinki.
I absolutely love this video, and a big part of that is the superb editing, but I think my favorite parts are how you represent the boss fights. I've never played the other souls games, but from my experience in Elden Ring, the main story boss fights are all about having a true fight with a worthy opponent. Most of the two phase fights involve pushing the boss into a corner and forcing them to go all in trying to defeat you, and I think you really captured that feeling in your representation. My favorite is the Rennala fight, because at first, she barely acknowledges your existence, only half-heartedly attacking you, but then when you whittle down her first health bar, she is forced to use the power of her great rune and rebirth herself into a more powerful opponent. I think that your representation of this was great, as once her second phase begins, you give her another title card, and changing from "Queen of Caria", which is just her title, to "Queen of the Full Moon", which shows that she is now using her full power against you. Basically, I don't think you get enough credit for not just how funny and creative your editing is, but also how it is able to convey a story that really matches the feelings and themes portrayed in the original game.
He really shows love for his videos and the games themselves. Both fans and outsiders can love his work, which is something everyone should get to enjoy.

Rennala's phase 2 isn't even her bro, Ranni was so embarrassed by how crazy and depressed her mom is to the point she can't even properly fight she conjured an illusion to show you how it should've gone down. I can tell you played the game but it's kinda confusing as to whether you watched the cutscenes or paid attention to the story.
Despite how batshit your editing is, you also create one of the coolest edits of the fight against Radahn at the end. How you go from side splitting hilarious to genuinely awesome is fantastic.
