These young wives who say they 'can't cook' have NO excuse these days. There are millions of videos of yummy recipes that take guess work out! It's been a while since I've made one of these but they are delicious. I used to make my own dumplings, but this is so much easier!
Well here’s the thing I say I can’t cook but my whole family says my foods amazing I however can not eat my own cooking I think it’s gross. Then I’m terrified of wasting food so I never try new recipes. I’m just too paranoid idk
@@TiannaPrater-vc6yq Oh come on Tianna. I'd be willing to bet you're a great cook! Some people just get a hang-up that they can't cook well. I'm critical of the things I cook now that I've gotten older, but they tell me there's no difference, that it taste good as always. If you follow a recipe to the tee, then it's not your fault if it doesn't turn like you want it. Just eat it and enjoy it!.🌷
I've been making my pot pie exactly like this for years, except instead of adding the chicken broth, I add cream of chicken soup to the chicken & veggies, mix well then pour the bisquick mix all over top. Makes a good topping...yummy! I actually got the recipe off a bisquick box years ago!
I got the recipe off of a Bisquick box many years ago also. My daughter and myself loved it and my grandson and myself could just about eat the whole thing ourselves but I use a can of drained mixed veggies instead of frozen and I use cream of chicken soup. So good.
I make a casserole that is just like this one except instead of Bisquick I use Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit mix and substitute the water that is called for on the directions of it with milk instead. The rest of the recipe is exactly the same with that one substitution. I also make another version of it where I add steamed broccoli instead of the frozen veggies. And instead of mixing one can of cream of chicken I add 2 cans with half the amount of chicken broth and use the cheddar Bay biscuit mix as well. Great recipes. Keep them coming. ❤
I have this recipe and have made it several times. Folks love it and usually ask for the recipe. I often take it when I need to take take a dish to a function.
Oh they have all kinds of delicious flavors now! I get mine at Costco for a great price and it's organic! I can't wait to try this recipe. You would also be so surprised how easy it is to make your own condensed cream of chicken soup with simple ingredients using the Better than Bullion broth.
If you ever do beans with a ham bone in the crockpot, you can add some Better than bouillon ham to the liquid. It makes it really come up a notch in flavor.
I made this last weekend and we loved it, but it's more like a chicken pot pie. I also made it with frozen peas & carrots instead of the peppers. Thanks for sharing all you yummy recipes!
I made this recipe this week and it is terrific! So hearty and delicious. And i live alone so it's a great size dinner that I can eat over 2-3 days of leftovers.
I love chicken & dumplings! Can’t wait to try this! 🌺 Very similar to my old recipe, using egg noodles instead of breading. The poultry seasoning is the perfect seasoning.
Thanks Jen!! Always love your videos and how you stay so “you” even after your numbers have climbed! As several of those who came up about the same time as you have gotten so fake and ran off the rails I never watch them anymore and have unsubscribed! So Jenn thanks so much for still being you even after the whole world knows about you now!! We love you so so much girl!! And love your food too!!🤣💞💕🥰🥰🥰
My favorite used to fried chicken 🐔 my MA ( grandmother) used to make it every Sunday and no matter who showed up there was always plenty if good to go around
Looks delicious. I would like it with some cold apple or cranberry sauce. I like the contrast between the hot savory chicken and the cold, tangy sauce. Thanks.
Better Than Bouillon is the best. They also have a Lobster base one for seafood stock and I believe they have a ham one too and some new flavor blends.
We just finished a few hours ago. I always enjoy chicken, and this Sunday my husband picked up fried chicken from Publix, and I prepared the sides...mashed potatoes, gravy, mixed vegetables, biscuits. I like to roast a chicken on many Sundays, making the house smell so good. We're in Georgia, so soon the sides will change to potato salad or pasta salad, maybe roasted vegetables or baked beans.
That looked so delicious, it's windy and cool here in NC today.Idk what I'm having for dinner yet. But my favorite Sunday dinner has always been pot roast.Or now the Mississippi roast recipe.but we ate on that last week. Sigh I just don't know unless I might just make this tonight maybe.
I don't mind a few "y'alls" but some of these folks in the Southern cooking videos go wayyy overboard. And yes, it's nerve-eating. P.S. I'm 100% Southern... born, raised, and still live in the Deep South.
@@dabear2438 I too am Southern. I have a warm and welcoming personality. I like to also be respected for the educated professional that I am. Sounding like that would kill that perception in a minute.
Jenn, I love better than bouillon broths. They have beef and vegetable too. This is a Great comfort food cause it's been kinda cool here. Love your down home flare and cooking ideas. ❤
Looking good😋😋😋😋great job and your right the better than bullion it’s delicious I use it in all my recipes because they sell different flavors.👏🏼❤️❤️💚👌👍✌️😉
Better n Bouillon is carried by Costco if anyone is a member. It is SOOO much cheaper there. You get a HUGE jar for the same price you gat for that little tiny jar that you get at the grocery store. I love it, I'm never without beef and chicken.
Oh my gosh that looks amazing, I will be trying this one for sure who knows maybe today lol also I will be making some of this up for freezer meals in the future thank you for sharing
Love this recipe! Please let your customers know that Better Than Bouillon has a plethora of flavors if they visit the site! I've been using them for years.

That looks so good. Going to order Bisquick and bullion on my next grocery order. I love pot pie and dumplings!!! I like fried chicken and sides for Sunday dinner. My husband fries the chicken.😊
My favorite Sunday dinner is either fried chicken or old fashioned pot roast served over white rice (old kind not minute rice) with potatoes, carrots, sliced tomatoes (fresh from the garden), cukes and homemade cheddar bay biscuits!!
