An Informal Retrospective of Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Kai!! I loved hearing you passionately share your thoughts on XC3! Noah is one of my favorite characters in the game, though I often struggled to explain why until you mentioned how philosophical he can be. Noah isn't afraid to ask the hard questions and tends to ponder deep in thought that I, too, also can't help but wonder what it'd be like to sit down and have tea with him haha. As far as my thoughts go, XC3 was really special to me because it was one of the few games in which I truly experienced it first-hand without any spoilers. A lot of times, especially with long JRPGs, I opt for experiencing them vicariously through others' playthroughs since I don't often have time to play them myself. Yet, like you, the timing of XC3's release could not have been any more perfect since the game absolutely consumed my entire August! There were so many lessons I gleaned from my playthrough, but the most profound one was during the baby scene in chapter 5. It reminded me that as mundane as life can feel, it is also a precious gift that we should never take for granted.
