I love how real Emilia is and how brave was Ryan to include that real conversation moment at the car in the vlog. LOVE when a vlog style video comes out in this channel, the motivational ones are fine, but I LOVE the vlogs.
Pray this prayer to go to heaven and pray it from the bottom of your heart plzzz Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior
I also think it´s not healthy to put 100% in one thing (if that is even possible). You gotta have time off and time with friends/Family and doing something you like besides Work. You know if people go too fast they burnout or get stressed and that slows them even more down or even prevent them from working. Better find your own balance and pace.
Love the clip where Emilia tells you how it is and acknowledges seasons of life. You taught me a long time ago communicate and appreciate and the rest falls into place. Thanks for the video was a great candid convo with you and her!
I was going to comment about phases of life and she put it wonderfully. I'm glad Ryan has someone who helps keep him grounded and keeps it 100 with him

After watching this vlog, I know my grandfather’s advice was more true than ever. The most important thing in life is to “marry well”. That’s what makes easy all the other things. Keep up Ryan, love these kind of vlogs!
Ryan's wife is very understanding, and Ryan tries very hard. I'd love to see a vacation vlog, where he takes it easy. See him hang with his family and add a little vacation house touring with the fam.
I've had people tell me I'm crazy for scheduling life, but its the only way I can keep my sanity and make sure I dedicate the time I should to the things that matter
thats the kinda shit tv shows lie to you about. The children of these insanely rich people on tv constantly want their dad to be with them, but its not that they prefer their dad over their get anything they want lifestyle, they want both
I like Ryans way of thinking....after 54 years of marriage....I agree with his philosophy of balance. I was a stay at home mom of 3 for 13 years and when I asked my husband about his work he used to just say it was crazy and I wouldn't understand. He also used to travel a lot and I was jealous. Later in life I graduated from collage at age 47, went into the medical field and understood what he went through. Good luck Ryan and hope you guys are able to grow your family. You both have a lot of love to give. I have watched you from your first TV show.
he didnt seem angry he seemed to accept that having a meal at the end of the day makes all his hard work worth it, because hes coming home to ease. When you love someone you don't look for criticism in their words, you feel for truth.
Unless you’re a Mum, you really don’t understand the depth of ‘you have it easy.’ Keep in mind... Emilia had a work life identity... then you become a Mum.... and it is relentless... and you miss the ‘old you’. You miss being able to do what you want, when you want. Even when Mums go back to work, they have to plan for the baby and then themselves.... while Daddy can just cruise to the gym and work and not even consider if the baby needs anything, because they KNOW it’s taken care of. It is the Mental Load of being a Mum. I hear you Emilia. I hear you. I’m so glad you said what you did, Ive watched these blogs, heard your story of infertility, and then watched these vlogs wondering how your days are, and if you’re doing ok xoxo Sending love from a Mumma in New Zealand xoxo
I LOVE that Ryan gives 100% to everything he does and by giving a lot of time to work now he is building an empire for his family....WHAT IS YOUR LEGACY??? Ryan knows what his is, and his wife and kids do as well!! I love this family such a great example to everyone, fantastic, motivating, and fun. All the best to them and I applaud the effort to make a difference in this world instead of passing the buck. Thanks for the gift of your precious time Ryan and family!! BAM!!!
This is one of the best videos I ever watched, and no 1 of your vlogs!! The fact that you include your life partner in your work is absolutely amazing and definitely helps with life and work balance considering your extremely busy schedule. You are by far one of the greatest examples for me, and probably for others too, from all the successful people out there. Your energy, your passion, your excitement is absolutely amazing!!
What made this video was Emilia telling you what you could work on. We see you on RU-vid,TV, Insta, Facebook, etc.. So we see you as someone with very little to no flaws. It was refreshing to see that you might make mistakes like that with the rest of us haha. Keep being an inspiration to us all!
Everybody’s definition of work life balance is different. And if you love what you do for work, it becomes a lot easier to spend more hours per week ‘working’
He is not some kid, his name is Jack. The house is lovely, materials things are not everything but it's very nice to have a comfortable life thanks to having a hard working, loving, productive and honest husband to provide for his family, it gives you the freedom to do whatever you want to do in your spare / alone time.
Not only did I love this episode but I just finished listening to your book 'Sell It Like Serhant' on a total POWER through because it was SOOOO good!! I truly got so much out of it and will use the concepts my business for SURE. Thank you for taking the time to read it yourself - what a difference to have your personal flair as part of the audio. Well Done!! #inspired
Casey Neistat was, until he realized it is not working and his relationship almost broke. Now he turned 180 degrees. Just look at Casey’s old vlogs... and the last ones. Ryan will see this eventually... A doctor once told me, why run 100% all the time, if you run at 75% sometimes your still ahead the rest...
Best part Ryan doesn’t jumps or talks so enthusiastically in front of Emilia 😂😂😂 so this truth is world wide Husbands do go off in front of their wife 🤣🤣🤣🔥🔥🔥🔥
lol Ryan wife spittin the truth. You could take it easier Ryan you have plenty of money selling houses does not really matter. Preparing the next generation is.
Whoooo! She is growing! Keep feeding her, stay happy little one and stay blessed! Your wife has a great point! You can have it all, just not at one time and there will areas that might not get 100% and don't let it be your families well being! BALANCE is the key.... 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
For a person that doesn’t cook much you did a great job. Love the life illustration. My job is to make my husband an omelet every single morning. (I cook/brown the veggies in the pan first to add flavor, then dumped the eggs, cheese and seasonings in (tip: add a teaspoon of water per 2 eggs to make them fluffy) Don’t cook eggs on a high heat or they will be tough and rubbery.
The moment when Ryan asks his daughter "Do you want to see more of me?" and she nods her head yes 😩💔 And I love that his wife Emilia kept it a buck: "He doesn't have a work-life balance....You don't know how to balance work and life." She says he puts work first, and I 100% believe her. But props to her for being so honest (and to Ryan for not editing that out).
Ryan man you really help me so much to push forward especially when I think shit is falling your videos inspire me and make me realize that I can just get up and stop complaining and keep on going. I showed all your videos to my previous sales staff and it movitated them to sell more . Please keep up the great work always looking forward to the next video !
I really love how honest this couple is, that's the main key to maintaining a healthy relationship. Ryan, you are an inspiration to me, also makes me laugh a lot, thanks man!
I've always liked Emilia's down to earth, practical, straightforward thinking and actions. You lucked out with her, Serhant. You'd be wise to never forget it.

Emilia is SO right.. work as hard as you can now! When Zena gets older (~ kindergarten) she will really need you through the rest of her Life.. you don’t want to be the dad in “Cats in the Cradle”..
that ending though!! He is amazzzinnngg. " and thje best part about having a healthy work life is being super successful and not having to clean it." hahaah yessssss
So much prefer this style of vlog (like your early ones) rather than the constant motivational twaddle you’ve churned out lately. More of this real life stuff 👍
Thank you for this video. Having a wife and 4 kids while being a small business owner is tough to try and balance. I love my family but it’s my business that supplies them a comfortable lifestyle. Besides my passion is growth and creation. You provided some really good tips.
6:35 - 8:11 : Wow, Ryan, this really impressed me. Your explanation about how you structure your life and the rules you and Emilia have set up make total sense!
Hi Ryan, love your vlog and books. Could you please ask your team to gather all “Ready, set,GO!” Quotes which you did in your Vlogs and make a short clip? so i can save it and watch when i am down on energy :) you are true inspiration. Thank you and keep making more vlogs.
My work/life balance is pretty insane too, I work 40-50 hours at a grocery store, I'm growing my business, side hustles, and spend very little with my sister and mom.
These two are great together! He works very hard for his family and Emilia understands that. She’s right no one can “have it all” it’s about percentages! BCC is a great idea! Scheduling is brilliant. Team work!!! Good job Ryan well done!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
a smile, a hug, a word of joy n wisdom, a hug, an adventure, to or from yr family n friends is of greater beauty and value than a $20,000 watch, or a vanity house as monumental as the pyramids when steve jobs was shifting apple into high gear he lured a pepsico ceo skully by saying, do you want to spend your life changing the world or selling sugar water do you want to spend your life planting the seeds of a nourished civilization, or do you want to collect and sell monuments and prehistoric pinecones
The balance is one of the toughest things about being on 24/7. Having kids at home and constantly saying I'll be right there, or I'm almost done, knowing that another seller or buyer is going to call or email the next minute is just brutal. I'm constantly thinking about the cats in the cradle song. I think getting to the point that you feel comfortable not taking every single lead, or going on every listing, is when you start to actually balance... but then anyone serious about the business or who has been doing it a while will always have the nagging feeling, "What if I needed that lead?" for when things start to dry up again. With the waves of the market it's hard not to always have that in the back of your mind when you want to provide everything for your family and make hay while the sun is shining.
if you need to ever stop..... and get somewhere you can hear and enjoy life at no cost to oneself except time, if you want life, you have got to stop and reflect, sometimes for days to get out of the insanity, i did 40 years ago, i live with nature and the maker, God Bless drop by any time!!!
I'm Greek. Came here as a child from Athens. Been watching you for years now. You do your wonderful family right. You have a great wife and beautiful girl. Stay proud and healthy Ryan. Cheering you all on from Cali'...
Totally love what you said about saturdays being for family but still keeping your phone on you to take calls- also love the honesty here🥰🥰beautiful family - thanks for sharing!!
I love how he advised viewers to be kind, right after he called his employees bitches and told them to clean after him LMAAAOOOOOO this guy too funny man
I was inspired just by how truly driven you are it's another level no doubt when I found your vids on RU-vid a while back you were one of the people who really showed me that you can do what you love. Although it is an amazing amount of effort I used to think it was possible for work life balance It's no secret that family and friends will underpreciate what guys do or partners do I have come to realize like all driven ambitious people we try and do it all I used to think it was possible Im not saying you can't in my experience I have come to realize a hard truth and that is you will never be able to make everyone happy and I became exhausted trying to, what you do for others is amazing keep inspiring !!!
Brother your an inspiration . You work for your family . But you’re mindful of quality time . Nothing is perfect but something like this is what I aspire for .
Work life balance is a dream. When you are in real estate and/or mortgage you are at the mercy of your clients and deals in the pipeline. I think the key is being present in the moment when at home.
The small conversation between u2 was the bestest part of d video.... A perfectly matched couple.... Where one has passion of achieving & is 💯 dedicated to work for it, sumtimes it works sumtim it dont.... & There comes partner for support; cool & calmly explain its okay life can't be 💯 perfect... imperfections r also prt of it... Which makes life challenging.... Loved Emilia honest thought 😍😍😍
I love his enthousiastic vlogs!! This is real and all of the crazy busy business folks outthere need to learn to spent time with the family and being a great dad
You are a true uplifting aspect on my day. I really do love looking at your vlogs everyday. I'll even watch more than once. I just love your whole entire outlook on life. Definitely an inspiration for me truly. I would seriously love to visit NY to meet you. Just to have a conversation.
People gotta understand, perfect Work/Life balance is a myth... every person is different, every situation is different, and every career is different. Structure your life around your personal values and goals and keep it pushing.
Absolutely right. It’s making it work for you and your family. You two are adorable and blessed to each have found your soulmate. Emilia has grown into her ‘mummy’ role so beautifully, and is soo wise. You obviously treasure your family. Thank you for sharing.
Hey Ryan, I don't know if work-life balance will get you seeing this comment but, when we watched you on the show, we individually agreed that we liked you. So it has become a mutual agreement! I love the idea of 4 pans on the stove all at one time. I told myself, geez, 1) What a great concept! Saves some time standing there when there are other things to do! 2) That just made me conscious about doing things more efficiently going forward! Thanks Ryan! Also, I don't know why, I live overseas in the U.S. territory of Guam, and the last show that I remember seeing maybe 2 months ago was when the cast got together with Emilia still pregnant, and the rest of the cast either with little ones or expecting little ones! Your daughter is gorgeous with those big round eyes. 😍 How old is she now? Anyway, stay Serhant cool! 😁 P.S. Is Luis still in Puerto Rico?
Ryan, you have an amazing life and tell your wife what you do during your day...but... (at least not that you showed in the video) didn’t show viewers any instance where you ask your wife how her day was and what she’s doing and what she needs during the day to make her life easier. It’s more important to be a husband and dad than a businessman. You’re an amazing businessman, but a tad more life balance to give your daughter the time is something you’ll never regret doing as the great dad you are! You’re amazing at real estate though. Wise woman you got next to you!
If only some of us had that luxury of coming home being able to tell your significant other what you did at work that day...due to some people’s nature of work, you can’t keep them in the loop, and that’s what makes it even harder with that communication piece in a relationship.
USED TO LIVE IN NYC IN THE 60S 70S MY DAD WAS ALWAYS WORKING. VERY RARELY MY DAD HAD TIME OFF .WHEN HE DID WE USED TO WALK THROUGH THE CITY AS A HAPPY FAMILY. MY MOM WAS ALWAYS SMILING.
@Ryan Serhant I have a lot of respect for people that are transparent, authentic, and most of all vulnerable! Thank you for sharing a vulnerable moment with your wife Emilia. I truly believe a balanced life is a lie! The question of balance is a matter of priority. Extraordinary results demand that you set a priority and act on it. When you act on your priority, you'll automatically go out of balance, giving more time to one thing over another. It´s all about counterbalance :D An extraordinary life is a counterbalancing act. This is the reason I follow you...because you DON´T HAVE A BALANCED LIFE! because you inspire me to counterbalance my life to achieve extraordinary results :D GREAT VLOG! Thank you and all your amazing team! Greetings from Los Cabos, Mexico!
I believe so, anyone can do a 100% worklife balance, I believe everything is attached and depended on the other, you work on health, keeps you working taking care of the family.
#ryanserhant If smart, hard-working, ambitious and entertaining was one word, it would Ryan. You have given me so much courage and energy when I needed it the most. Ryan for President 2024!
The Mrs. is being honest. :)) Loving what you do is priceless! Most of us are not in the "boat". That's why you should do what you really want to do and would love to do. :)) Those omelets look good though. :))
