You are correct on everything until you said a good example of a leader. That was the only thing he really lacked here in Seattle. He's not really a leader, he's too fake and cringe he to get the respect of his peers. And as it's played out it's clear he's not quite the goody two shoe never tell a lie guy that he claims to be. Now that's fine for most people. But he's been clearly caught in bullshit, and it's just made that much worse by the fact that he won't own up to it and he has tried to push this persona. Football wise. I think you're getting a great player. From everything I can see though unfortunately, he is on the decline. He got a pick the entire offense of line and the new coordinator last year and he didn't show up at all for OTA's I think he was only there three days. He wasn't putting in the effort that it took to make the team good. Despite what he says he's obviously already given up at that time. Some more bullshit. I guess we'll have to wait to see how the season plays out. But he doesn't want to run like he used to. He thinks he's Drew Brees and he's going to sit in the pocket. That's what most of us are anxious to see. We saw him sit in the pocket and he threw seven interceptions in three games. So hopefully for your guises sake he makes better decisions while carrying the team on his back. Because he's not as elusive as it used to be. He'll but refuses to run except for in the third quarter anymore. And that's what made him so great. Defensive had to put a spy on him. That's one less player on the field. But they haven't been spying him for pretty much two seasons. So congratulations on your extremely fake, and likely declining quarterback acquisition 👍🏼

I am a Seahawks fan for life. What Russell did in Seattle for a DECADE put the Hawks on the map, and brought them a SuperBowl! The thing about Russ is, HE WALKS HIS TALK. When he says it's about "Making it a great day" he lives that out on the daily, not just on Sundays. Broncos country has NO IDEA what's about to transpire. What I can say for sure: regardless of what the scoreboard says, there won't be any empty seats at Empower Field by the end of the 3rd quarter. Russ's level of belief, hope, and confidence will not only impact and influence his teammates, but all Broncos fans as well.
So you don’t think he could’ve been an even bigger man and give up a few millions to help the Seahawks win another super bowl. I mean that’s what he’s always talking about the highest lvl right? It’s unbelievable, I’m still in a state of bliss. John Elway was my favorite player growing up. When he retired Peyton Manning became my favorite player and when he decided to play for the Broncos, I was beyond ecstatic. When he retired, guess what? Russell took that mantle. Russell coming to play for Denver, no words can describe. Peyton went on to have an amazing second career with the Broncos and I hope it’s replicated with Russell. Let’s go Broncos!
I’m similar to you, Elway and Peyton especially. Rooted for the colts just for Peyton. Although I still couldn’t bring myself to root for the hawks after the 48 debacle. This is truly, Peyton 2.0. Back in 2011, the team was there and just needed one guy. We got that guy and it was a seismic shift in the football landscape, and with some key free agent signings we made the dance twice and won it. I fully expect a similar situation, the AFC is looking to be a three horse race between Buffalo, KC and Denver. We are likely third in that but any given Sunday.... ‘22 and especially ‘23 and beyond, special days ahead my friend! Denver will be a free agent destination. Ecstatic doesn’t seem like enough.

My goodness! That got me right in the feels. We in Seattle were truly blessed to be able to draft him, and to enjoy him as our QB, and an amazing leader on and off the field for 10yrs. I am grateful to have got to enjoy his time here and our many wins! I appreciate everything he has done for the Seahawks and the city of Seattle. It is a funny twist of history. Broncos had Russ in for practice in the 2012 season, and it is quite likely that if our Manning deal had not happened that he would have been that QB drafted to give Tebow competition.
