Does NDOT offer certification classes for it's employees? For example, I saw a worker with an oxyacetylene torch in the video. Would he/she have to already be a certified welder in order to use a torch or is that taught on the job?
@@SlayerofFiction well regardless its still considered a torch though, I wouldnt see why you need to be certified to use a oxyacetylene or propane torch. Then again im a field service welder so I use them every day...
@@nateb-runs5053 He's a young guy and it should be noted one does not necessarily have to be certified to even weld, although most jobs will require it and certainly it is encouraged for higher pay.
