I'm actually learning film now (moving from just writing; I want to tell more stories in a moving picture-way) and your interview style really inspired the way I want to tell stories. I'm German and I can hear it. I also live in the US and struggle with the sake issues she has. It's the way her voice sounds. Sometimes her mouth isn't relaxed enough so some of the vowels sound very short. Also, every word has the same stress which is a thing in German. We stress every word the same way. In English that sounds robotic. Listen to her again and compare it to the interviewer. She's good but I can tell that she's not a native speaker. But the fact that she got to this point just by osmosis is amazing.
