I love the animated mouth! Thank you, this was a lot of fun to do, even if I sound kind of dour. Always funny to hear myself speaking, but that's probably true for most folks.

Thanks Hildy :) Glad to hear that you liked it - I can't tell you how many hours it took to animate this video! Hope to catch up with you soon!

You sound great! Ty as always for making such beautiful music. Even if the market is over-saturated, your songs are so good I thought you had come up with the whole movement and that everyone was copying you! Interesting interview, surprised it hasn't gotten more views.

@@cc-ur7hl TBH, I think there's a lot of really lazy 'bardcore' out there - you know the ones, that have just taken a MIDI file and swapped out the instrument voices on them. People like Hildy and Algal the Bard (not trying to be a dick to others, just the first 2 off the top of my head) are going the extra mile and putting effort into their work, which is what sets them apart from the crowd.

Inspiring artist. Your version of "Jolene" is the best version I have ever heard of this song, and gives the real impression that it was written hundreds of years ago, when, in actuality, it was conceived by Dolly Parton in the 1970s.

Hildegard has really been one of the best in this genre. I love how she handles all parts (at least that's the impression I got, hope I am not wrong about that). She also really seems to respect the aesthetic of the age, with regards to the music and the language alike: The lyrics are often very witty and humorous. Definitely one of my favourite subscriptions to get a notification from. Keep doing the good work, and thanks for the interview - I'll dive into it right away.

Well with the singing voice of an angel, it's not too much of a shock that she didn't sound like a raspy 80-year old who's part of the clergy xD

As someone who has been following Hildegard's channel for years. I have great respect for her music and lyricism. She has done a great job at creating something quite unique. I just wish that other creatives out there used their imagination and used unique instruments. Every other channel sounds generic and repetitive. It would be awesome to see older instruments and vocals! Excellent job on the interview guys! 👄 🎭

Sadly I think a lot of people did wrong to the genre when they rode the hype wagon, leaving behind a landscape filled with cheap midis and non-period accurate instruments and musical constructs. I hope exemplary talents like Hildegard could right those wrongs and redeem the genre.

Please see what you can do with the original work of Hildegard herself! Your voice seems perfect for that and a slight rework (modest modernisation for modern ears and public) would be great for reviving her miraculous work for greater audiences . . . . . That would be awsome!

It is a piece by the original Hildegard. I believe it is O Virtus Sapientiae. Edit: Pretty sure it's this cover: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C9K9PfjRjxM.html

Her speaking voice sounds like a teenager. Its a bit surprising since her singing voice sounds like a fully mature woman in in 30s.
