An Introduction to Chesterton: The Apostle of common sense 

Thanks for doing this. I cannot wait to learn more about Chesterton. 'm 46, grew up in the USA, immigrant from Nicaragua. I am anti communist, I favor preserving the US Constitution, I am not a hater of God and religion. Though I have my issues with religious leaders, etc. I'm embarrassed that I have never heard of Chesterton. I think the tide is turning. Folks, raise your children before somebody else does it for you.

For me, there is NO 'past tense' in this man. He speaks to the constant and forever human nature modern society tries and fails to redefine.

I wish Chesterton was running the country.

I am extremely amazed how after living in the UK for 2 years I didn't hear about this marvelous man. It is 12 years later that I'm back to my natal Venezuela that on my mountain I come across with him. I always thank the British people and I never end thanking them 🙏 ❤

Heard my late father mention Chesterton. Wanted to learn something about him as this weekend I am going on a pilgrimage with some people from my church to visit his grave.

If I were marooned on a desert island with one man and had my choice, it would be G.K. Chesterton. And I think I would be never be bored for the rest of my life.

Chesterton was the man. He really was the Apostle of Common Sence. If his policy of Distributisim for national Government which he came to had been followed we would not be in the mess we are in. Just so happens it is also the social teaching of the Catholic Church. God Bless

That is the face of a man who just didn’t give a damn about what secularism said. He stuck to his common sense and logic.

I hope they play that tune when he get's his sainthood.

That is tremendous and you can almost make the case there is no better pure poem from England in English.
