It has taken the best part of 60 years to understand the way I think and act, but it is never too late. First, the Tarot and then my astrology chart have both helped me to ground myself. I started with Mah-Jong (133 cards, I believe) because I was afraid of learning the Tarot and memorising all its meanings. I do not intend to read professionally; I use it as a meditation tool. I usually do a reading, and after getting a general idea, I come back to that reading with fresh insights. If I read for someone, I'd probably be all day talking to that person-not a good way to start a business. Never liked Swords, Death, Tower or Devil but know I love them all including the minor boring Arcana. Great Video Sue

I started Tarot with a Marseille deck more than 20 years ago when I was 16 and years later when I had my first job I stopped doing it. I initially bought a book that provided the major arcana of the Marseille deck only and it was a good way to learn. Much later I bought the Rider Waited deck because the artistic work is amazing and very close to the Marseille deck for the major arcana. I was drawn to astrology as a child and then to Tarot as a teenager because somehow I felt there was Great Knowledge within the Tarot, the drawings, the numerology. The effect of the Tarot was that at one point I didn't need the cards anymore to have an answer. I would ask the question, shuffle the cards and the answer was already there which was then verified by the cards. You are right when you say that Tarot teaches you about yourself... You connect with something that is part of you but that doesn't necessarily manifest in your daily life. Last summer, thanks to you, I went back to Tarot, even bought 2 new decks, one is called "The Tarot of the Longest Dream" with beautiful drawings by Roberto Innocenti whose work I already knew, so when this came up it was a joy to get it! The only thing however is that the backs of the cards show a rising sun... So you can't really do them reversed without knowing... I don't know why some decks are like this..? Maybe you have an explanation. Will be following your tutorials with pen and paper, thanks!! ♥

I’ve been learning the tarot for about 4 years now… and I’m still learning and I still find it challenging! But it’s really interesting and I love watching other people, like yourself, read the tarot. ❤
I'm doing tarot to reconnect with my intuiitive self. Like you when I was a child and scared adults because I knew things. But that was pounded out of me literally (Catholic school). It helps me get past that fear of condemnation. PS it's not rubbish it's all valuable to see beyond the rote to the human side of tarot.

That's great always fancied having a go my dad was Irish and wouldn't have them in the house said they were evil so I was nervous to do think one card at a time be great and I have angel cards so learning these be awsome.
Thank you, I love The Tarot and I can sort of read them intuitively, but I would love to understand the individual cards more. It's a bit like being able to play music instinctively and learning how to read notes and scales. I hope that analogy makes sense 😅❤
Im so grateful for these videos. I bought cards funnily enough the same ones you have in the video, about a year ago and i wanted to learn tarot so i searched youtube and found your videos, i want to learn just because im really drawn to it. I've played about with the cards but had to google meanings and its really confusing so far. Ive had this weird thing since i was a kid where i know when something bad is going to happen but i never know what or who to and so its always seemed so pointless, im hoping maybe the cards will help me tap into it better.
Well to be honest being a reader must start with psychic abilities or forget it. There are tons of tarot RU-vidrs who can read cards but not accurately. It doesn’t work with just learning tarot.
Everyone had intuitive or psychic abilities! Don't let the word 'psychic' misguide you! Intuition and psychic abilities are the same thing. My aim is to teach you how to tap into and trust your intuition! 💜🙏🏻🫶🏻
@ well they might have but like you said they have to tune into it. But people I have watched regarding psychics or tarot readers on RU-vid claim to have that but yet don’t get the messages you receive. There is quite a few readers who have done Idaho 4 50 to 250 times. No joke getting different readings on who it may be. Always changing. That’s not someone with a gift. That’s someone who sees $$ signs only. That’s why I have told others about your channel. You are the real deal and modest also. Thank you
