Thanks for this!. I'm a South African filmmaker - with directing as my main driving force in life. Long ago, during my film school years, we were never taught HOW ACTORS THINK. And I think most film schools suffer from this (especially those that only specialise in crew-things). A year or two ago, I decided to research Stanislavsky and I can't say I've fully absorbed it yet, but this practical aesthetics technique certainly makes things SUPER CLEAR. Directors, NEED to know what actors are being TAUGHT in order to communicate effectively, and not say stupid things like: "be more happier, or be more energetic, give me less intensity." Those type of direction can give you a bad name.

Why are you speaking with a Trans-Atlantic overly pronounced affected accent? That's fine for teaching the classics but has no place in modern film/tv production, unless it's a meta period piece. Is this how you talk to the store keeper at a bodega when you buy a bag of chips?
