The “Scot’s Nomad” takes a well-being wander with Flynn the cocker spaniel. Leaving Menstrie and following the track along the East side of Menstrie glen. Eventually reaching the Sherrifmuir area and then back along the track at the West side of Menstrie glen.
The idea is to show people new to the area and not confident I walking on these hills that they are accessible and that there are nice walks to be had within the hills. Walking outdoors and being close to your environment has a post effect on mental health and well-being…
I cut the video short, it is clunky as usual but I like to leave it that way. Still nervous talking to the camera I ditched the original intro and when talking about the sculpture “fox boy” nearby folk on their way to work were slowing down and having a look at what I was up to.
