I am a new investor, a doctor by profession. your videos are full of information and extremely valuable educational material too. Thank you for your efforts.
Identifying a multi bagger scanning the SME IPOs is an upheaval task since not much information is available in public forum. Indeed, a nicely illustrated video. That you Shankar
Hello Shyam, thanks for this gratuity. Much appreciated. As I mentioned in the video, I couldn't come across a mutual fund or smallcase that's focussed on SMEs. However I did come across an article recently that might be worthy of further exploration: www.financialexpress.com/business/sme-msme-fin-financial-services-firm-ski-capital-gets-sebi-nod-for-rs-600-cr-fund-to-invest-in-smes-3146961/
Well presented. Recently I was wondering how these SME IPOs are listed so frequently and what it is all about. Really looking forward for your next video on SMEs. Kudos to your team for providing such diverse contents every time..👏👏
I'll try, I found it very interesting aswell. If you comes across some blogs or RU-vid channel which does this regularly, then let me know. 200 SME IPOs is like 4 a week.
Many time i see sme ipo's but never got confidence. One of the factor is high investment amount. So is there a option to start with lower amount. One more thing do we have some options to invest in sme ipo index?
Its an wonderful video with little known opportunity revealed. However its difficult for normal person to do the research. Is there any mutual fund or some other instrument which focuses on this strategy?
Thank you. I spoke about it at 11:38 in the video itself. If it helps, I did come across an article recently: www.financialexpress.com/business/sme-msme-fin-financial-services-firm-ski-capital-gets-sebi-nod-for-rs-600-cr-fund-to-invest-in-smes-3146961/
Hi Shankar, I find 2 intersting SME ipo coming. One is Chavda Infra, which I feel is a very decent IPO On other side of spectrum there is Unihealthy Consultancy, which I fell is pretty much day light robbery + money laundering + hawala If you're time permits, we would be interested to know your expect view on these two different SME IPOs
a new investment avenue.... thanks for coming up with such educative videos... would live to hear from you with next level of deep diving....Thank you Guruji...
Wow, Shankar ji you opened an interesting avenue of the marketplace, quite refreshing and different from the usual stuff the audience like me are bombarded with day in and day out. Looking forward to the next reel. Commendable and creative horizon expansion. Thank you!
Bro recently I got my first job... I want to budget my salary but I can't find the correct app or sheets template, could you provide us a simple and effective template for budgeting...or make video in budgeting the salary
Hi sir really really all your videos are very useful and knowledgeable.. Very eager to watch upcoming videos... How could we can invest in IPO SME fund... Is Zerodha coin available??
@shankarnath Shankar Sir, Used to park my fund in Liquid fund but after new Taxation( fall under 30%) and also Indexation going away, it doesn't look attractive anymore. Please make a video on it where to park the money, if not in liquid fund??
Hi sir , share market is bound to be volatile because of upcoming election. How small investor has to approach this ?? Booking profit and sitting on cash is it good option?? Can you pls do video on "Impact of election on stock market"
Hii sir can u make a video about active and index mutual fund ...in small cap catagory...which one is better... expenses ratio vise and long term return vise ...thank you
Thanks shankar for these insights. Yes this is an unexplored field for me and quite curious to learn further. Thanks a lot for setting a launch pad for me learnings. As usual thanks from the bottom of my heart for all your efforts in simplifying things
So nice of you. Thank you very much! Yes, this channel's focus will be to show the path .. but one has to walk the way. I am reminded of something a classmate told me at an alumni dinner. She said: "We'll have done our jobs as parents if instead of taking every decision for our children .. we can give them the right tools to them that'll help them make the right decisions all throughout their lives". That was 15-16 years ago and that statement is still fresh in my head.
@@shankarnath absolutely true show the path and let each individual over come the path holes on their own. That's the right way of teaching ot inculcates analytical thinking capabilities.
This is altogether a new learning for me. I am always averse to investing in Small cap considering the risk. These videos will be helpful for me to learn more about SME board, SME indexes and investment, returns related to SME
Small company investing does have it's risk with liquidity issues, unscrupulous promoters, access to capital .. but will some thought and research, the chances of landing a multibagger definitely improves
Very informative post Shankar sir. Would really like someone from MF industry to come up with SME Index Mutual Fund so that high risk appetite investors can invest in the index
Thank you. Yes, same here. I think liquidity is the issue which is why we haven't seen something in this regards. However, with the microcap 250 index now launched, I'll say its a matter of time when an AMC launches an SME index
@shankarnath Hello Really fantastic video, most of us don't know and literally searched for this topic to invest in and your video gave me insight. Eagerly waiting for a mutual fund 😊
Thanks for the video Shankar. But why have make dealing in SME stocks in lots needing lakhs of rupees for relatively small mcap company? This sounds so counterintuitive to force people to buy and trade only large quantity. SME is risky by nature and then they force you to deal only in lots. Seems this is intentionally kept this way to keep retailers (small) away. Shankar your take/insight on this will be very valuable.
I guess the intention is to keep small investors who shouldn't be investing in highly risky instruments away. In other words, offer this to people who can afford to lose money on it
Hello Shankar thanks for the video. Also, can you please make video on impact of *PE (private equity)* holding on share price. As many new age companies are backed by PE and many affordable housing finance companies where promoters are PE. I have noticed that when PE are promoters there is often overhang on share price as investors live with the fear that PE may exit anytime. Can you do a detailed study on this topic and make a video?
Hi Shankar, I am a regular viewer of your videos and have been watching for a while now. Have never said out loud but You have such an impact on the way i allocate my resources. I agree with all of your videos and wish to start something similar. Would appreciate if you can guide plz. Just cold commenting here, hoping that we could exchange some ideas. Thanks
Few week ago i cam across BSE SME IPO INDEX and so looked for ETF or index fund but could not find any. Request you to talk about it as well in upcoming video.
You have shown returns of s&p bse sme index but forgot to tell how to invest in it. SME ipo are risky but SME IPO index fund minimize that risk. Aren't anyone aware of SME mutual fund in market??
Learned about this exchange about a year ago, but hesitatnt to invest due to lack of proper reasearch and capital required, hoping you provide some solution for this in future videos, anyway love the video 🚀
11:33 in FY12 many SME failed because there were absolutely horrible advisors, both at exchange level, & also external consultants. Now in FY24 (after 12 years) there is a far better knowledge pool both in-house & in-market. So there will be very few blunders.
SME investing can be rewarding-but also place for the expert investors. Small investors can clone the famous investors whose capability to do due delligence on such stocks is better.
