As much as I'm super happy for them we still haven't taken a single game off of any eastern teams yet. Hopefully tonight nrg can show that their first game was just nerves and they can show what they are made of.

U want that cuz u think it’s gonna revive the game no chance ppl with no attention span or attitude to get better it’s about as bad as the marine bootcamp I went thru but worse cuz at least bootcamp had some discipline ppl league has 0 attention span and 0 nontoxic players unless ur play for fun or just getting straight up carried. Ur talking about 2023 going to 2024 if it hasn’t been reviving yet when will it no offense just ur wishing on a .00001% chance I feel like this year will be the last as more adults stop playing this game and more kids ruin the game with 0 listening skills.

My favorite part of this is the sheer, utter disbelief in NRG every SINGLE caster and costreamer had coming into this. Literally none of them thought they would win, many of them thought they'd get STOMPED, and then... well. You saw what happened.

In LCS, NRG/CLG are truly "the boys." They have an inexpensive roster filled with players that no one wanted or gave up on. To see them succeed beyond organizations with huge payrolls and years of dominance (TL, C9) fills us with more hope than we've had in quite some time. They are also, comparatively, very humble, and I appreciate the good sportsmanship. They make you want to cheer for them, which is something a lot of teams have forgotten how to do.

I could've watched another hour of this. Such good production, great presentation of the storylines - - once again a great piece of LCS content. I literally couldn't be happier for them all, and there's no other group of guys I'd rather be rooting for going into quarters, especially the ex-CLG boys. What a great ride it's been, so happy to have been here to witness it all.

The whole team played amazing and it was pure joy to see, but Taliyah's my fav champ so I just wanna shout out Palafox for THE BEST TALIYAH i've seen ALL tournament! Contractz went nuts this series too and the whole team played great but, considering how many rough performances Taliyah's had so far at Worlds, seeing a Taliyah played THIS well almost brings a tear to my eye! It was so cool!

I’m from NA but I wouldn’t say NA has “peaked” higher than EU across the last 3 years. This year surely, but let’s not forget that G2 finished 3 in 2020, MAD finished above C9 in 2021, and RGE finished in 5th which was higher than 3 Eastern teams (RNG, DWG, and EDG)in 2022. I wouldn’t say winning one game is an achievement either, but anything for some copium/hopium.

It is a statistical fact. There is no argument. Look at the results in terms of peaks from the last 3 years. Equal in teams to the knockouts and all teams have been 0-3'd. @@wehttam6988

@@brettwolven6390 my point proven. “Peaks” is where the teams have finished HIGHER, hence the peak. Did we forget the 3-15 record from 2022 Worlds. We ALL know MAD have been the biggest frauds coming out of EU/NA ever, that team is soooo bad, hence the ez win for NRG and G2 got exposed as frauds. So yes THIS YEAR NA seems to be better, but let’s not act like NA hasn’t been getting stomped at worlds while EU has been getting at least one team to quarters/semis regularly, aside from 2023.

9:21 croissant doesn't get enough credit IMO. I remember even in previous years in LCS, CLG would pull out uniquely simple drafts that would allow them to outperform expectations in playoffs. He's been quietly in the background of some decent moneyball-esque teams.
