Hello friends and welcome to my 2023 Christmas Home Tour. Over the course of the last 4 weeks I have decorated our home with treasured family heirlooms, thrifted finds, handmade pieces and natural items like dried oranges and cranberries...all to give our home a cozy old-fashioned Christmas feel. Today I will be sharing a few smalll spaces that you haven't seen yet and I've also made a few changes to spaces that you have. These spaces have brought so much joy to my family and my hope is that they bring a smile to your face as well. So grab a cozy beverage and a warm blanket and settle in for a stroll through Christmas at Our Home on Lawrence.

What a beautiful and relaxing Christmas tour of your home! So many things to comment about-the gingerbread house is amazing and the vignette on your island is perfect. The kitchen has really evolved over this year due to your ingenuity and talent. The wreaths are wonderful along with cranberry topiary--I could go on and on but will stop here. Your home was so warm and thats what I call a pretty, cozy home that I could come to and feel at home. I loved the way you had it decorated and oh my goodness your grandma's china was beautiful. Hi Carin, I had to go back and watch your 2023 Christmas Home tour today. I love Christmas, and I loved how you decorated your home. I really enjoy watching your videos. I look for them every Friday. I noticed in this Christmas tour the cocktail table in your living room. Looks like it is a Hollywood Regency table. Am I correct? I have been looking for one for quite a while. I found one that a women was selling, but she ended up giving it to me. Would you happen to know the size of your table. The one I got looks small in comparison to yours. Thanks!

Oh my goodness. Carin, you truly created a Christmas wonderland! It evoked so many wonderful, sweet feelings in me. One of my treasured memories is taking a historic home tour in my hometown at Christmastime many years ago with my kids. The homes were so beautifully decorated, much like yours. Thank you so much for subscribing!! I’m so glad you are here! I found the retro microwave at Walmart last year, I will drop the link at the bottom of the comment. I never filmed the building of the vent hood cover but I used 3/4 inch plywood to build the box and gorilla wood glue and nails to attach the pieces. The top was installed after it was screwed into the existing cabinetry, and can easily be removed if I need to remove the cover for any reason. I am thrilled with how it turned out!
