I love that once she starts singing and he hears how amazing she is, he pulls back with the piano and gives her moments to truly shine on her own, as well as tailoring the accompaniment to her tempo and delivery. Truly a skilled pianist!
I admire how pianists (and any other instrumentalists) consistently adapt and harmonize with the vocals. Without them, the entire performance wouldn’t be as flawless, yet they often remain in the background, out of the spotlight.
@@JezielProdigalSon Exactly my point. After a successful show, the singers often get most of the spotlight, which is precisely what the instrumentalist initially aimed for. My mother was the lead pianist for a choir, and she always did her best to help them shine to their full potential at any given moment.

There's a lot of pianists doing this. And I like the videos because of the reactions of the bystanders but, I have to push myself because of the obvious lie that this is spontaneous. 😉
@buddyaustin7232 Yes, the performance was beautiful and the reactions of the people very entertaining. But a lot of people are convinced by the title in the thumbnail that this was spontaneous and that it was a coincidence that there was a classical singer in the room as well. 😉
I immediately sang along with her, and I don't know anything about Italian. I just memorized how to sing it lol. Bella Ciao is truly a timeless classic

I've been binging on these videos and, even though, I don't think you were that suprised from the other artists, I have to say thank you. Music is the universal key to life. It can make you sad and it can bring joy. Today I needed this joy more than ever.
My late Mother was Italian. She would have gotten out of her wheelchair to sing along! Both the Pianist and Singer are exceptionally gifted and brought tears to my eyes. Absolutely beautiful!!
