An Origami Butterfly for the Mihara family 

An origami butterfly designed by Michael G. LaFosse to honor the many contributions of the Mihara family to the world of origami.
This project is folded from a single square of paper that is colored differently on each side. A standard 15 cm square of origami paper will produce a butterfly that is approximately 11 cm at the widest wingspan.
