"An Otherwise Peaceful Religion," Josh Earnest, 2015 Jan 12 

During his White House Press Briefing on Monday, January 12th, 2015, Josh Earnest used the phrase "an otherwise peaceful religion" when referring to Islam in the context of terrorists who use Islam as justification for their actions.
To me, this was a parallel to the apocryphal story of the awkward fellow who asked, "Well, other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?"
