Come along for the ride, as we have some overland fun in our return to the Ochoco National Forest.
Located just above the true geologic center of Oregon (Post, OR), the Ochoco NF has quickly become one of our favorite destinations. We somehow managed to not go here for a lot of years, despite it being so close! There is a lot of diversity here, in landscapes and wildlife to explore, and most importantly, it just has that VIBE that you want to return to.
The Historic Summit Trail is part of the Oregon Back Country Discovery Route, section 4.
