Hi Nata Diamia you're not that great of an English speaker yourself, so perhaps before you go on criticizing people, you might as well pause and reflect on your own level. you're comment has the bearing of someone who might be good but not that good. PS: you don't get to say "they'd accept me in" for just "they'd accept me" might do just as well :)
Dear @Nata Diamia, belitteling people, as deriding them doesn't make you look any superior ! However, guess what ! I have good news for you. Zombies eat brains, you are safe...BRAINLESS PS: When a prepositional phrase is used at the end of a sentence, we never put a coma before it. Go busy yourself with some grammar lessons maybe your brain will start fuctioning ;)
This is awesome, I'm about to start a master's in applied linguistics and this introductory lecture has been really engaging, empowering and motivating. :)
I am thinking of doing masters in it. I'm really interesting in learning about languages but I'm from an engineering background with no formal training in linguistics. Can I do it? If yes, which universities are the best?
@@bhaskaranmahesh First, I consider you should demstrate via IELTS or TOEFL your language proficiency. Afterwards, I think it depends on the university. I recommend you to look up the destination you'd like to study at and then ask directly in the linguistics department of the universities if you're elegible to study linguistics or if you might need a diplomate or any additional sutdies.
I am an English language graduater , and would like to do MA in applied linguistics. But hesitated whether to choose literature or applied linguistics😢
