Hello Mansha, thank you for your comment. Someone born with Ashtama Sani in their chart will affect their parents during birth. And when the next Ashtama Sani comes, the effects will be determined by the other factors of the chart - what is the Lagna, the moon phase, if there are positive energies for Sani, etc.

I am sorry for your loss. It must be hard, I can only imagine. Ashtama Sani does bring about some difficult situations, and it is a hard teacher. Chances are your husband is also going through a Sani period. Your circumstances will improve after your Ashtama Sani.

Yes, you guessed it right, my husband is going through sade sati and it’s peak phase started from January 2020, after which in Feb we lost our first pregnancy and this year again in January 2021 we lost our 7 month pregnancy. I was also diagnosed for Covid in 2020. This past year has brought us nothing but bad luck and has shattered me physically and mentally..

Hello Nina, thanks for the comment. And no, Ashtama Sani is not the same as Sade Sati. Ashtama Sani happens when Sani is 8 houses away from your moon, while Sade Sati is when Sani moves to the 12th, 1st and 2nd house of your moon. They can't happen at the same time.

Thank you for the reply. I have never endorsed the effects of Kanda Sani to anyone - it does not really inflict anything. What you are most likely experiencing are effects of your Dasa / Bhukti period. And you can’t look at just one planet & make a prediction. You’d need to look at the entire chart & the current period. Vedic Astrology is purely a mathematical analysis. Predictions are made based on luminosity of planets and their aspects with other planets. I will post a video on Kadagam’s Ashstama Sani when the time comes, however. Let me know if you’d like me to read your chart. Thanks!
