You have inspired me to visit the little town. I lived in Germany for two years with parents in the 50's. Love the German food. Question did you camp nearby?

Lol, (vicky back) I commented on my phone, but now for the official comment! lol Loved this video! Very nice job of showing off the town of Helen! I so want to go visit there now! How far was the parking to where you got into the town? $6 isnt bad at all. Was that your truck far back in the lot,? cause I noticed the tailgate was down.(or was it off) That was funny, but very smart, that the public restrooms were behind the beer garden! 😂 Whoa! those were some good hefty size mugs of beer yall got! 😉 Did you stick with something you knew, or try a wacky named one on tap? It looks tasty either way! Oh, wow, the food looks great. Ive not tried too many German dishes, but that looked good. By looking at the menu, I think I will have , Hofbrau Lagar, the chicken schnitzel, AND, the Black forrest cake! lol Was that Milo's food, in the rubbermaid plastic container Melody picked up when she was eating? (just wondering) lol That was nice that you were able to have Milo there with you on your tour of the town!! That windmill was beautiful, and the little cottage behind it was adorable! The park was so cool and, they had adult swings too! Nice! The T-shirts were really cool! I saw, and liked the hat you got Lou, and Milo got to shop some too! I hope Melody got a shirt! Or some candy in the candy shop, either one! or both! lol Awsome little place Milo found by the river...what are all the pad locks all over the fences there for??! Aww, how sweet of you Lou, and yes, Melody is a very lovely lady!! Did you, or could you ride the coaster? Wow, glass blowing! I love watching people do that! Its amazing. Such pretty things in there! Ooooo, yumm, smoothie time! I was wondering if Milo got a little taste! Very, Very wonderful video guys! I had a blast! Wonderful little town!!! Absolutely 💯 beautiful! My family and I lived in Hayesville, NC for 3 years and visited Helen a few times also traveled thru on the way to NC and on our way back to Florida. Thank you both for your service and God bless you both and love the video and many more!

I’m glad you enjoyed your time there. The glass blowing shop is amazing. The next time you need to eat at the bakery at the end of the business area. It is fantastic. I watched my granddaughter tubing in the river under the bridge there. We like to go to Helen the first weekend in June. They have a hot air balloon festival/race there every year. It’s a lot of fun.
