You could name it Ace in the hole It really fits because it is a small park and that is going to be the Ace in the hole by being the biggest and best in the park
An idea for a small, circular planter with no TMTK I came across yesterday is to flip the obnoxiously large cardboard coffee cup sign upside down and submerge it until it looks right :)
FINALLYYYYYYY IVE BEEN ASKING FOR SO LONGGGG…name idea: El Caballo (translation: The Horse). Also, what do you mean by it is janky…I found it very smooth!
The ones I think you mean don't come in a variant small enough.. They were my original plan but the radius at the top is too tight to use them. You can't do the lattice work efficiently with them even if they did work..
A few Things: 1) Not a Fan of the Custom Supports or Layout 2) I just Spent 4 Hours Custom Supporting Olympia Looping, a RMC is nothing to me 3) Need Chacho Advice: I am building a Traverling Theme Park in PlanetCo and I am Struggling, Any Advice? 4) I am trying to make PlanetCo videos and it is really hard, Do you have any Advice to make my Videos Better? 5) Name Suggestion: Rampage
I'll start off by advising that there is a brutal side to RU-vid. You really have to go in with your eyes open and your expectations realistic. Plenty of building practice and then start to work on how to present it. Don't worry about the editing, the polish and all that to start with. Just publish and go from there. You'll improve as you go and you'll find your groove eventually. Stay consistent. Stay relentlessly positive. Stay motivated. Finish a project. Build for the bin. And lastly, build a community. People are watching YOU, not the park you build. They come back because they like you. If you're abrasive, then own it, but it will rub people up the wrong way. If you're loving and caring, embrace it but people will walk over you - the lesson? You won't please every-one so just be who you are and own whoever that is. If you force something you're not, you're inauthentic. I stopped trying to be a chilled and cool creator and just let myself be the messy chaos that I am. It worked better. People are going to look down on your 11k subs as "not a big deal" but behind every 11k sub channel is a creator that is probably stretching themselves thin to have gotten there. It's an uphill struggle. ALL. THE. TIME. Every week some-one, some-where will make a snarky comment about your work, you will have dislike vandals, you will trigger thoosies and the number of "well akchooaaaallly" comments from people who think they know better than you will be plentiful - more so if you're actually good or experienced because taking people down, to them, is like a sport. They're usually wrong and base their feedback only on what they've ever seen and not what is possible - but they mean well. And even worse, no matter how long you spend on something, it still won't be enough for some. They literally want your blood. Go into it knowing that you're building the park they wish they could... So, only get into it if you're sticking to it. and lastly, Planet Coaster reached peak relevancy in 2020 / 2021. It's a dying game and the max audience reach is small. We are still here. We still exist, but you're not going to be Mr Beast with Planet Coaster. Hold off for the sequel or choose a different game. Oh.. and do Shorts, but for God's sake enjoy what you're doing. You'll be amazing when you do.
My only Video with over 1k Views is a Short, They are OP, and I Love doing RU-vid, Even if my Videos do Terrible, I dedicate my life Planning, Building in PlanetCo, Editing and I LOVE IT, I just Strugle with Speacking for long Periods of time,(not because i dont enjoy it) because i run out of things to talk about. You Inspire me@@Nerdchacho
@@I_am_Addicted_2_RollerCoasters - you just need to learn the ability to talk about rubbish to fill air! :D But, seriously though, you don't need long commentaries in videos.. make your format a mix or your videos shorter. Basically, you need to just make the content you want to make. Your audience will tell you what they want..
Considering I always want to add a 0g stall on my rmc’s then end up deleting it after I get annoyed at the profiling I completely understand it not riding well.
As one of those ‘purists’ you describe I have to admit. Anyone doing custom supports for wooden/rmc coasters gets my respect. Even if they’re not perfect.
How would maintenance get to the storage track area for the RMC there’s no backstage area where trucks and cranes could possibly enter off season .. that’s my biggest down fall in this game is realism backstage area 😢
RMCs don't need them. They can be tucked away pretty much anywhere and the stuff you need dismantles into small enough pieces to be craned out from the main pathway with a long armed crane. You don't need massive access points for every coaster. Small parks have to get creative with this sort of stuff because they don't have the luxury of space for it. The same is also true next week too..
Mostly inspired by you, I’ve started to make my park. I’ve decided that no matter how much I hate it, I will prevail and complete what I have planned. Your advice and the inspiration you gave me has helped me out a tonne. So far I’ve spent 4 hours on the same starter park as Wilderview Mews, and I’ve outlined and flattened the car park area, made a ramp from the car park to the entrance area (no detailing, just to a realistic angle and have made (with pretty much fully tmtk) a security gate, and then started on the location for the park sign, with rocks mulch and shrubbery. I’m really not far but all this took 4+ hours! I severely underestimated how long it takes to get to high standard realistic levels, and how hard security is as there’s not much reference around. I hope it all goes well (and eventually I get a channel 5 gaming spotlight) but I’m not going mega im going medium. Could be mini but I’m planning on spacing it out a lot. Thanks for your insight and help, it means a lot and honestly you’re my all time favourite RU-vidr. You’ve earned a lifelong fan and deserve the world’s best community. Love you chacho ❤️🙏
P.S. I really hope I get a reply, and I’m also going for a “high budget, not much space” feel. I’m also amazing and love dark rides, so a bit like universal I WILL be making plenty (at least 3)
Nice build. But, do people really think you need tmtk to make a good rmc? You should look at my rmc in a park called savery downs on the ps. It has an element I haven't seen anyone else make. Console or pc. Tmtk is only an enhancer. Ps. For a name I'm thinking something horse related. Like Mustang, or the Iron Clydesdale. But I'll admit those names are a bit Shiite. 😆
