As I said elsewhere, Victoria is a top-tier dancer, easily on par with Lisa, Hyoyeon, Seulgi, Irene, etc. The rest of f(x) was, at the very least, able to keep up with her, putting them above average dance ability, even among idols.

they didn’t showcase sulli’s roles much in the video but she was the visual, vocalist and she kinda shared the center and face of the group with krystal, and she was pretty much loved till she started dating choiza everything just came down the rail after him (and also her fansite that bullied other fansites than later became sulli’s biggest anti) it’s a loooong story lmao she’s been my ult for many years but she’s never been much loved internationally when she was in the group so it’s nice to hear that she would probably be your bias😭😭

Without doubt (and I’m a hardcore SHINee fan) the best discography in SM history is F(x)’s - I highly recommend checking out their full discography it’s like SM chose them to be their most experimental and were brave in production values and often trialled new styles and genres through them. Pink Tape is my personal favourite album as a complete work but every album is pretty much flawless in flow and thematic choice for the time

This guide in all honesty was very… aged 😭 so if you’re curious here’s some more information about them! •They debuted in 2009 with LaChaTa and they were marketed as “Asia’s Next Dance Group” hence why they’re all pretty good dancers •Victoria was the first chinese idol to be the leader of a group so she’s quite groundbreaking in that sense, because all the other members were younger - she used to go on variety shows to promote the group which is where she got famous for her flexibility and personality. She mainly promotes in china now as an actress and singer and variety star. •Amber was one of the first if not the first “tomboy” style idols in kpop. She still releases music and I believe she’s signed to Jackson Wang’s record label (?) •Luna is so incredibly talented, she auditioned as a dancer and then ended up becoming one of SM’s best vocalists. She was the first official winner of King of Masked singer EVER in korea! Her solo mini album Free Somebody is REALLY good - I would definitely recommend checking it out after doing f(x)’s discography, and she also had some more R&B songs and ballad singles. •Sulli was originally a child actress and became the visual of f(x). She was a very passionate supporter of women’s rights and incredibly kind. Her solo single album “Goblin” has some really cool production that I think you might like! • Krystal is Jessica from Girls Generation’s younger sister! Originally SM wanted to cast Krystal but they ended up casting both of them. She did a lot of acting and CFs and was kind of an it girl in the 2010s. She hasn’t released any solo material since she mainly focuses on acting. Victoria: Leader, Main Dancer, Visual, Lead Rapper Amber: Main rapper Luna: Main vocalist, Lead Dancer Sulli: Visual, Face of The Group (unofficial Lead Rapper) Krystal: Lead Vocalist, Visual, Maknae, Centre •f(x)’s discography is quite short but consistent, they have 4 full albums (+1 repackage), 2 mini albums and a bunch of singles. •The Pink Tape album is very highly acclaimed for its art direction! •They have one christmas song called “Wish List” that is EXTREMELY good and I think you will LOVE it •f(x) and SHINEE were really close and are both like twin groups of each other (5 members, experimental style, well rounded, great discography, debuted within a year of each other) •To answer your question about if the group are still close: It’s hard for them to meet because they all live in different countries but they always celebrate group anniversaries and sometimes take pictures together when possible. •Sulli left f(x) in 2014 after a series of hiatuses during their Red Light era. She still continued to support and be friends with the members even after leaving the group and was still in SM entertainment. •f(x) haven’t officially disbanded but… SM kind of doesn’t acknowledge their existence and they all left the company so you can consider them disbanded sadly.

They are my favorite 2nd Generation group to this day and I completely love them. Answering your questions: yes, all the songs you heard in the video are their songs. I'm not gonna tell you names, as you said, but, I will say that those songs are all spread throughout their discography, which is immaculate, by the way. To this day I'm yet to see a group have 3 SEQUENCED RELEASES with max quality as f(x) does. No other group has been able to top Pink Tape > Red Light > 4 Walls and I'm ready to fight anyone who dares to disagree. And don't take my word for a judgment on their discography, take Billboard electing Pink Tape as the best KPop album of the 2010's decade. f(x) has been such a important group in molding the visual identity and musical concept for so many 3rd and 4th generation girlgroups that even in the minor details you can see a f(x) influence. For a moment I was worried when Min Heejin (the main producer/designer for f(x)'s visual concept and aesthetics) left SM and stopped working with Red Velvet (she was responsible for some of the concepts for Red Velvet early releases), but now that she has her own label and group, (ADOR/NewJeans) I'm happy to see that I'll still have a group to stan that will defy all the others and have their own exquisite and unique identity.

I’m so glad you got to see how each talented each member is and how they make f(x) so special. Sulli is also a great vocalist, she made a solo debut and showcased a vocal delivery we didn’t get to hear in the group songs. Bonus you got to hear how f(x)‘s discography does not miss. Won’t name names but there are b-sides from Nu ABO, Pinocchio, Pink Tape, Red Light, and 4 Walls (no Electric Shock spoilers).

You can see she is in lots of dramas these days. Amber - she is doing her solo works in US and China. Luna - she is going to debut in Broadway next October as the first Kpop idol in a Broadway musical as the main actress. Amber has promised her to come to watch. We can see a reunion of 2 members. Luna is an amazing dancer, she entered SM by dancing but ended up as main vocalist. It's kinda sad that the title as vocalist overshadows her title as dancer. Luna is a top tier and incredible dancer.

2 of the songs you went crazy over were 2 of those ones that I wanted you to check out on my comment a few days ago. F(x) have probably the best discography in kpop. So many 10/10 bsides. Alsooooo, their album “Pink Tape” was/is widely regarded as the best kpop album of all time and the teaser to that album is considered one of the most legendary teasers in kpop history

I really wish there was a newer, longer guide, I barely found this one when I was looking guides up and it felt kinda ... short. Still, it was nice to learn some things about them.

some stuff not mentioned in the vid, all the members have solo releases to some extent, amber the most, vic also released an album, luna's album free somebody is one of my fav albums EVER, sulli also released goblin which is a beautiful song and two other bsides, krystal just has one solo which is kind of a collab called i don't wanna love you, but here's hoping for more solo stuff from her one day! luna and Amber were also kind of the unofficial subunit and released a few songs as a duo which were bops as for if they were close to sulli, all the members were close and still consider the group as ot5 even though sulli officially left the group yrs ago, her leaving wasn't anything to do with the members also random fun fact! luna is currently part of a Broadway musical!!! I wish I could go watch but am so excited and happy for her Thank you for the reaction btw!!!!

I don’t think this video is informative but i hope it gives you glimpses of their personalities and talents. the song that played at krystal part is my fav bside by them which is shadow💕 can’t wait for you to discover their bsides they’re soooo good🥹🥹 i stanned and loved many groups but never found myself listening to albums consistently like I did with theirs, their songs always so good and refreshing to me. their sound never gets old I highly recommend this video if you want to watch something in your own time “sm experimental girl group and how they changed the industry, the history of fx” It’s too long but would let you know everything about them also it spoiled a lot so it might be better to watch it later after discovering them
