I’ve noticed that Taeyong is so much closer to Johnny, Yuta, Ten, and Mark. I don’t think it’s weird at all he does care for all his members but he’s just closer to these four more. Johnny is his first friend he had made in training period, Johnny even went to his sister’s wedding and went to Taeyong’s graduation that in SM Rookies app that in their schedules that they had to talk. He’s always helping Taeyong out like he’s the dad of NCT while Taeyong is the mom. Yuta it’s hard to explain how close Taeyong and him are close but you can see how comfortable Taeyong is with him and Johnny. Ten I feel is Taeyong’s other best friend or so called soulmate. Soulmates don’t have to be in loving term it can be meant for someone who is a best friend as well. With Mark, Taeyong simply adores him and saw him grow when he was just a kid in the trainee days. Taeyong is like Mark’s older brother that Mark adores so much. But it doesn’t mean he doesn’t care for his other members because he does but he’s just more comfortable with these four.
