'Sarala sukhada maraga ehi bhai' - The Supreme Entity has its impersonal form, called Brahman and its personal sweet form, called Bhagavan. As stated in the Bhagavad Gita, the worshippers of both the form attain the Divine abode and experience Divine bliss. But the worshipper of the impersonal Brahman are like monkey babies who try to hold the mother by their own effort. So, when the mother monkey jumps from one tree-branch to another, there is chance that the baby may fall. On the other hand, the worshipper of Bhagavan are like the kittens of the cat, whom the mother cat lifts by neck when going from one place to another and so there is no chance of falling. The impersonal Brahma is also 'nirguna-nirvishesh' without any quality manifested and so He cannot help the devotee in his path of devotion. But our Shri Krishna is the embodiment of unlimited qualities> He bestows his grace and protects his devotee at every step of his journey towards the goal As Shri Krishna Himself said, 'न मे भक्त प्रणश्यति' - My devotee is never lost to Me 🙏🙏🙏
I like to worship different form of God like durga ma...krishna ji.. Shiv ji ...sometime I feel attachment with shiv ji so continuously I will pray him devote him... Anothertime i feel connection with krishna ji... Likewise sometime with maa durga... Somehow I understand the concept of brahmanand and premanand but can you explain me if I feel attachment with 3 4 forms of gods is it brahmanand Or premanand??....should I devote only one form god to get premanand??. But at last but not the least my connection and attachment with each form of god is immense .
Radhey Radhey Swami ji! With maya being so strong it is difficult to perceive God and with so many theories around formless/ personal form has been a big question for many. However, with your explanations it becomes easy to understand and makes us yearn to realize the premanand bliss!! 🙏🙏
I agree with you totally! Never heard about this knowledge while growing up. Swamiji has opened flood gates of Vedic wisdom for us. Happy to be learning with all aspirants in this community!
The transformation of the four Sanat Kumars and Janak Maharaj from being absorbed in the Brahman aspect of God to the Bhagavan aspect of God is fascinating ... It's a puzzle to me what Roop Dhyan they were doing when they were absorbed in the formless aspect of God🤔. Just looking at Shree Krishna in his three-fold bent pose floods the mind with bliss🤩🤗😍 ...
When I hear this episode, I clearly think of my own past. I used to do meditation on formless God from years, but I never got any bliss nor I experience God. But when I heard from Swamiji that God has personal form that is paramatma, I completely absorbed in that. Then connection between me n Lord Krishna grown to tremendous. Now I can feel his presence and tapped into never ending bliss of love or devotion for God. Thank you Swamiji, my life is indebted to you, for your invaluable teachings
The illustration of "mother and her child birth" was very much convincing in understanding the difference between feeling of formless God and. the one with form.
Just follow swami ji regularly and try to follow what is He saying u will slowly see that all ur insecurities vanishes away. I am also teenager and what I am saying is through self experience so u can trust me 😊❤
Brahmananda is the bliss of Formless Aspect of God , while Premanand is the bliss of Personal Form of God. Though Brahmanand and Premanand are both the bliss of God, Premanand is sweeter than Brahmanand, and thus superior. The bliss of Brahmanand pales into insignificance in front of the bliss of Premanand. Even the Governor of Universe Brahma and Shankar yearn for it. Swamiji has very nicely explained the same by giving different examples.
Transformation of Videhraj Janak seeing the personal form of God is most fascinating. Devotion of the personal form of God attracts our mind easily towards Him.
So blissful explanation by Swami Mukundananda ji , How Brhmananda and Premnanda are different from each other . How four Kumars got attracted by just tulsi leaves fragrance and how king Janak got attracted by the beauty of Ram
Very beautiful video. Swamiji clearly explained how we attached to God and get devine bliss in life. In Ramayana bideha janak raja fully attached to God.
The four Kumaras of Brahma and Raja Janak were always absorbed in the formless Brahman. Once they came into contact with the Supreme Divine form, they were completely absorbed in the Supreme Lord. Swamiji's insight is that Premananda is even more attractive than the formless Brahmananda. He also provided an example of the happiness a pregnant lady experiences after giving birth.
My takeaway is that one should meditate on personal form. Rupe Madhurya of your ishtadev for eternal bliss. Correct me from wrong Sadhuji if I misunderstood anything. Jay Shree Krishna.
Beatiful story from Ramayan, Premanand is more blissful than Brahma Anand so instead of doing nirkar bhakti worshiping formless God, if we do sakar bhakti worshiping towards God in form will give more bliss
Bhagavan and Brahmananda both are different from of the Supreme lord. One is formless aspect Brahman, other is his personal forms such as Ram, Krishna etc. Both are infinitely sweet. But there is distinction between this. The bliss of personal form Premananda is immensely sweeter than that of the formless Brahman, Brahmananda. Like the parts of the same rose plant , the flower is immensely more fragrant than the stem. Even though Both are sweet, the Premananda is sweeter joy in the personal forms of God 🙏🙏❤❤
The example of a mother carrying the baby in the womb and then experiencing the baby after giving birth does help us a lot to understand the difference between formless and personal form of God. Never heard such knowledge until now. So grateful to Swamiji for sharing this knowledge with us!
So beautiful explanation by Swamiji!Premanand or the divine love bliss of God is more sweeter than brahmanand. The bliss of premanand is unlimited and ever lasting. In this form we can see God, feel His presence, touch Him,speak to Him and play with Him and think Him as ours very own.
Beautiful Swamiji! Love of the form of the Ishtadeva is infinitely higher than even immersion of the self in Brahmanand and likening the love of the form to the nectar that the bee is after as Swamiji discusses the experience of the 4 Kumars when they smell the fragrance of the Tulasi leaves from the feet of the Lord on their visit to Vaikunth - just beautiful!🙏👌😊
The distinction between Paramatma's bliss and Bhagvan's happiness is quite illuminating. The four Kumars' story was extremely motivating and fascinating. Here, Swamiji clarified that the tale of Mithila's Naresh Janak ji Maharaj is also quite fascinating. Swamiji used several illustrations to demonstrate how the personal aspect of God is more enticing and will encourage us to participate in Bhakti.
Such an amazing example by Swamiji to understand the difference between Brahman and Bhagwan. Through your explanation we could understand the difficult things so easily Thankyou so much for teaching us 🙏🏻
The nectar of Premanand is so sweet that over powers even the mind of jnyanies worshipping the formless God. Worshipping Personal form of God gives such a sweet experience in front of which brahmananda seems negligible.
Swamiji nicely depicted the virtues of Premananda in which the brahmananda of Sanakadi sages and Rajarshi Janakji Maharaj immersed unconditionally. Very touchy and inspiring topics of Ramayan.
Swamiji beautifully explained about Brahmanand and premananda. The four kumars of Brahma, in Ramayana Raja janak are observed formless Brahma. When they came contact with divine form of God. They completely surrender God.
Well explained Swamijee 🙏🙏 Such high level concepts in a simple understandable manner. That too I was under the impression that BHAGAVATHAM is a compilation of incidents. But I never knew it had poetic expression of indepth philosophies. very nice to hear your videos. #philosophy #srimadbhagavatham #spirituality #GoddessSita #janakmaharaj
The transformation of the four KUMARS from Brahmam and Brahmanand to Bhagavan and premanand ; the experience of bliss of a would be mother while the baby is still in the womb and her overwhelming bliss doing chores to the growing up baby are apt examples to show that premanand gives more involvement in blissful seva to Bhagavan .Worshiping Brahmam gives brahmanand but there is no form to contemplate . Hence the KUMARS ,yogis of very high order , were drawn to relish the bliss of Bhagavan and premanand .
All the evidences of examples are so opt that each one is unique and at the same time conveying the same truth from the ages to Kai yug. Be it Sanat kumars or Janak they got attracted to the personal form of God, even though they were absorbed in the formless Bhraman. premananda which is sweeter than Bhramanand should be considered as our preference. The example of the mother and child is so well put to make us understand so tangibly that we will be convinced completely 100%.
Radhey Radhey🙏I love the analogy of the mother and the child to illustrate Premanand and Brahmanand. Only when the child is born the mother is able to receive the enjoyment of the child. Similarly, only when we contemplate on the personal aspect of god we are able to relish the bliss.🌺
Understood the journey of the four kumars from brahmand to premanand. And these were very inspiring and interesting topics of ramayana.. radhey radhey 🙏
