Hey guys! After attending one of my best friends wedding as a bridesmaid I thought it was the perfect time to do an updated bridal/bridesmaid wedding tutorial using some favourite products and of course VIEVE! This exact routine lasted perfectly for 12 hours and it has me wondering if I prefer parts of this look to my actual wedding makeup... Let me know what you think and I hope you love it! J x

When i got married in 1999, my sister-in-law was my maid of honor, and she also was kind enough to do my makeup for my wedding. She worked for Stila at the time, and she was a fantastic MUA. I have absolutely no memory of what my makeup looked like, but i do remember thinking it was very beautiful. However, i do like pretty glam looks for everyday, with dramatic eyes and lips, and she did more of a softer "traditional" bridal look (which is probably why it was so forgettable for me). If i could go back and do it again, i would still have her do my makeup, but instead of telling her to just do what she wanted to do, i would tell her to do something sexy and bold and closer to my typical aesthetic. Most importantly, i would do a deep red lip, which is something that not only i love, but my husband has always loved on me as well.

I love the makeup you wore for your wedding and what you put on in this video!! Flawless Beauty!!💞 I got married in 1985, when people were wearing the blue eye shadow. So I had a small amount of blue on my lid, pink at my brow, and burgundy in the crease. At that time I thought it looked pretty, but now, I would definitely change it. 11.11.21 !!! And I finally bought the Nars radiant foundation. I’ve wanted it for likeee three years and after trying the este Lauder double wear at my trial-it was patching up all over my cheeks!! Beautiful 😍 id add that people should start a skin care routine months before the big day, and only use exfoliating (chemical) products in the days leading up that don’t cause you to purge (same with a professional facial - some can quickly bring up the gunk so be cautious what type of facial you get!) x

For my wedding day I did a pink look really similar to this but with some sparkles eheh 😉 to match my pink dress ! I usually wear a lot of makeup so my look was FULL GLAM, I was really comfortable cause pink is my favourite color and I felt like myself ... I‘m nostalgic now 😂

I got married over the summer and I used that same blush combination and it looked incredible! I have super pale skin and it gave me the most beautiful, naturally sun-kissed, effect! I got married October 2018, and wore naked pallet 3. The beautiful pink/deep purple. Totally agree, the pinks are so timeless and look amazing on everyone! I'm naturally really fair and pale, yet my bridesmaids/MOH ranged from tanned and blonde, to pale and dark haired .. everyone looked amazing in that colour pallet.
