Unfortunately I don't think people your age, (as well as older people who, Let's just say have some severe maturity issues) don't understand that having a cell phone in line and being able to take pictures and have fun is not as important as people's safety 💯 you having your phone is not worth someone getting hit in the face with a cell phone at over 100 miles an hour. People stood in line for years and years and years, without cell phones. The fact is you don't need them and if parents are so concerned about their children then they should get them a smartwatch that has service so they can text their children via their smartwatch.... Cell phones are not necessary and it's not a cash grab by the company it's an attempt to keep people safe that you guys just don't understand
I agree with all this except the cash grab part...the paid lockers is. no doubt a cash grab by Cedar Fare...for example, there is.a coaster in Santa Cruz with outside the queue lockers and they are free for an hour then you start getting charged. Im sure this is to prevent abuse of the free lockers
Dude I really don’t see why you’re having so much trouble understanding this. No one is saying you should be able to take your phone on the ride. The issue at hand is the fact that they didn’t provide free lockers like they did on SV. NO ONE who has been on this ride will tell you that you should be able to take loose articles on the ride, especially phones which are heavy enough to really mess someone up. Also “just buy your kids a smart watch” lol. You do realize you’d most likely need one with its own 5g line attached to it to work for this, so not the super reasonable solution you’re making it sound like.
@@joshfreund6008Except his argument is a total straw-man as I have heard NO ONE argue they should be able to take phones on board the ride. The only thing people are upset about is that the loose article policy is this restrictive but provides nothing in the way of a free solution.
