Ana Gabriel has this unmistakable, unique natural rasp in her voice that when you hear her, you always know it's her! She's been singing for like 50 years, so it's just her natural voice.

Ana Gabriel is great. I don't speak Spanish, but I love listening to her. Juan Gabriel is also a great Latino singer and songwriter. You should listen to Rocio Durcal La Gato Bajo La Lluvia(I think it means I'll be the cat in the rain). Rocio died in early 2000's I think from cancer. But she had a beautiful voice and put so much emotion in her performances, like Ana Gabriel. Eres Todo En Mi is another very beautiful Ana Gabriel song. Thank you for reacting to such diverse music. Your reactions are not only fun, but informative and instructive( lol you and a couple other opera singers need to give lessons in how to do a reaction to the dozens of ppl whose reactions are to sit, Bob their heads and haven't a clue what they're doing) Enjoy your weekend.

Whats funny is that a lot of voice coaches/pro's also think her voice is "strained" but that's actually her real, from the chest, voice. She has always had that raspiness in her songs, and has it in her regular voice as well. She was taught from an early age from her grandpa how to use her belly, not throat, when singing. (Her great aunt was an opera singer in China, so music is in her blood) That raspiness is just her unique charm and style. You should listen to Luna and No Te Hago Falta. You can really hear more of her range in those two songs. But anyways, thanks for doing a reaction to her. She will forever be la Reina de America to us, we love her style and her lyrics. Truly one of Mexico's best.

7:51 You Spanish is very good, I did not expect that. Just a few bugs, but it's understandable. We don't say: "Están mucho felices", we say: "Están muy felices, son felices". But your Spanish is excellent, keep it up, you're doing very well, you're on the right way. Excellent video too, I loved it.

I only ever knew Ana Gabriel's voice spoke to my soul, and frankly it's the only thing I cared about. I introduced my partner to her music during the pandemic. She took voice lessons from a very early age and was in the opera world for some time, too, so I thought she would appreciate what I felt was the magic of her unique voice and style. Instead, her list of concerns included: bad technique, straining her voice, and "I hurt for her vocal cords". Then we saw her live. Her reaction means not much to me from a technical standpoint, but maybe it does to you: "I was wrong. She's just all chest. I don't know how she's done this for almost 50 years. Most singers wouldn't be able to sustain that for 25. She's all chest and absolute pitch. I was wrong and I'm speechless." She really has sung the same way for her entire career. She was told to adopt more of a head voice if she wanted success with every early rejection she encountered in the industry. I'm glad she didn't listen. And yeah, I still only care her voice speaks to my soul. Speechless is right. I recommend the YT clip of the cover of Flores Negras she did on a variety show. It's a completely different genre and recorded at least 20 years before this concert, and all the same traits are there.

This songs a very famous because of the lyrics that are very common escenarios of life, if you want to get to know her voice very well, you should react to a whole song like Luna, this one wasn't the best to appreciate what she is really capable of, it is more an enjoyable performance por people that have follow her for a long time
