Quanta sensibilidade. Maravilhosa performance. Notas claras, arpejos perfeitos.
Ms. Vidovic has skills and facility that rival any guitarist. Accuracy and technical ability as thrilling as Segovia at his very best. And yet, her most amazing talent is the ability to combine these skills with an unrivaled passion and artistry. Even the smallest detail is given her full attention. Each line and phrase flows with great sensitivity, no matter how fast or haw many at a time. Bravissima!!!
continuously get mellowed by this wonderful playing, her breathing is just audible too....it sends me into blissfull oblivion in a mad mad world. thankyou dear sharer...
I am so proud of Mangore, as paraguayan I am. His work and legacy is universal. His inspiration was about our nature, our sound and colous, a reflect of the kind of human being we are. A bit nostalgic, mystical, informal, and native.
This is by far the most heart felt one I've seen yet. She owned it and made it hers. Bravo. Also, to the critical posts, live performances will occasionally have mistakes but she moved right through them like a professional. Why anyone would click dislike or not say anything nice at all baffles me. Bravo Ana! It was gorgeous.
Ana Vidovic shows a lot of discipline and control in her playing. This is an important factor which a lot of guitarist that are making a living with there playing DOT NOT have. Hat's off to her. She is definitely in another league. Benny Muñoz Latin Jazz Guitarist from Vineland NJ.
I think this is one of the most beautiful interpretation and playing of "La Catedral", if you ever try to play this song, you know it is difficult to perfect the beauty, and salute Ana because she did it so beautiful and flawless
OYE!
MUCHOS EXITOS MUJER
Are there really 125 dislikes? Good grief. What a cynical bunch? That is hilarious. This interpretation is absolutely beautiful. A wilder beast could be playing this song this way and I would say the same thing. Of course... Ana Vidovic is no wilder beast... (yes, I know. I don't spell well) Clean, crisp, intelligent, emotional, crystal clarity of tone, almost perfect execution from a technical standpoint, Like like like like x infinity to the tenth degree!!!
Me encanta, muy profundo tu comentario. Me dejó pensando.
Superb.Magnificent & flawless.Comparable to Andres Segovia in my opinion.I have never seen a female guitar player that ccan play like this.God bless you Ana.
I have a couple of Mel Bay DVDs of her. Ana Vidović is an extraordinary talented and sensitive guitarist. I think she pretty much lives for that instrument.
Really, really impressive. It's very emotional and technically flawless at sametime. This kind of balance between technique and feeling is very rare and is a nice gift from God to Ana and to us. Thank You for sharing this video.
Felicitaciones.
You should watch the video recorded in 2015: "Ana Vidovic plays 'La Catedral' by Agustín Barrios Mangoré". She got better a lot, and I loved more that version haha
i know what you mean. but i think its only in her videos on youtube, because i saw her in a masterclass and asked her about the videos on youtube and she said "oh that was 7 years ago" and then i went to her concert and it was totally different. she played la cathedral, asturias and suite castellana so good, much better than in youtube! i was thrilled. it was the best performance i have ever seen.!! she is the best!
My close friend and musical compatriot 'Dominic' of Dunedin would often play this piece. He died in only his twenties back in the nineties and whenever I hear his or any other of the Barrios works he played being performed on guitar my heart is struck by grief. He was also a virtuoso much like this guitarist but when it came to Mangore he played almost all of them, improvised, was actually part Paraguayan and had no limitations in regards to styles. RIM (Rest in Music) Dom...
I had two stories about the time from second parties...a car accident and/or suicide with his girlfriend...if it was the latter then it was a murder made to look like suicide...I only learnt of it months after it had happenned and was so devastated. When I go to Dunedin again it will be one of my priorities to visit his grave and mourn and see if I can find any of his family and inquire as to what happenned to his guitar and scores he was writing, guitar concertos etc...I have many videos of his playing, when I get round to it I will convert them from VHS to digital and perhaps upload some tributary videos to his consummate virtuosity...
Felicitaciones.
