I don't think it's that ironic. I really dig this depressing stuff like Anaal Nathrakh and I feel like it makes me appreciate just how good I actually have it in life.
Allan Pv I don’t think AN are nihilistic. They’re basically (from what i gathered in the booklet of the whole of the law) pointing out how fucked up and corrupt our world is, with all its totalitarianism, surveillance and so on. If they were nihilists they wouldn’t give one fuck about it. The music you hear on radio however, is much more nihilistic than this.
Are you guys that dense? The dude is quoting something. He literally put quotation marks on it, you don't even have to know what it's referencing to figure that out.
I don't know Who the fuck had This idea of blend Heavy Rhytmic Guitar, Electronic Sample, Haunted voices and a fucking AK 45 but he's a genius.. The album is going to be fucking good 👋
seems to me that too many people are salty because the band took a new direction (as if it were a bad thing). if musicians made the same music that people expected to hear every time they listened to a record by an artist, we'd still be listening to blues
it's not about changing the direction, AN always did that but this is so cringey and bland. Generic riff, retarded dubstep beat and awful lyrics, this is not what made me love this band and I won't blindly worship everything they put out just for the sake of them putting something up. I expect quality when it comes to AN and this ain't it.
- Singer: guys let's try a song with some kind of machine-gun drumming - Drummer pulls out a machine-gun - Singer: bro not literally - Drummer: why not? 🤷♂️ - Group: 🤷♂️

@Morbi_ Because metal elitists are spoiled brats. What else do you expect from them? Honestly, I think it's just AN trying to gather a little bit of more of a fan base. Most people won't even try listening to a usual AN track, so they're trying something new in order persuade them into giving 'em a chance.
elem0720 It’s WW1, “forward” in the lyrics references when the platoon commanders would order their troops to charge over the trenches into “No Mans Land”. In my opinion, WW1 is more “metal” and depressing than WW2.
I'm really glad that I found this masterpiece this early, it's truly the best song I've ever heard. Many emotions gone through my mind while listening to this. Anger, excitement and this overwhelming berserk-ish feeling I can't describe. I am truly shocked.
If you belong to the satanists who rule the world, you are given the task to share some of their agenda; and war is one of them. The last world war. Anaal Nathrak openly admits they are devil worshippers(age of starlight, endarkenment), and they certainly know some of the plans and are directed how much they are supposed to reveal to the masses. The song age of starlight itself has so much information in it, if one has the knowledge. The end of the world as we know it, and the beginning of the rule of the antichrist, the new age, new world order, under satan. All as the bible prophisied it. The end of this world is approaching really fast and the judgement of God with it. Seek Jesus Christ for forgiveness, because this world is spinning out of control in pure hatred and violence.
good lord its the same as when Tchaikovsky looked at his 1812 overture and was like "put a fucking cannon right here. this measure. get a cannon and shoot that shit. right there." and when you hear that shit you done near shit over how cool it is. this shit played and i got a fucking rush of testosterone. a fucking hail of bullets firing is a fucking percussion instrument. good fucking lord i cant take this. i want to fight a rhinoceros right now.
This doesn't sound like an AK-47 it actually sounds more like a Saw or Bravo. It has a louder clang to it when it fire. You can hear the mechanics and the sound of the belt fed clips and shells pretty loud. I love this!!!! Unless they say it is an AK.
After finding out the guitarist and producer (Mick Kenney) is Kordhell, you can definitely hear a phonk influence in the riffs and production. It would be cool to see more Phonk Metal music as I can definitely hear an influence between the two, like Ravens Rock.
People missed the point of this song. Im pretty sure it's a song about the Russian Army marching through Stalingrad to there demise and if they turned around they were shot by their own people. It's the inevitable end no matter what. It's a metaphor of human existence either way. It's a stripped down and more simplistic song to make the point that no matter what or how we are going to die but put into a atmosphere of war. Super simple to figure out. Great song.
Even though I´d agree on your general thesis, I´m almost certain the Song is themed aroun WW1, were the german Army was promised a "Victory until Christmas" by their leaders. Also fits in better with the "Forward!", considering how just charging in with vast amounts of manpower (even into machinegunfire) was still avalid tactic in WW1
It's definitely WW1 - the album uses a lot of WW1 poetry, such as by Siegfried Sassoon. But the rest, about being shot by the enemy or by your commanding officer for "cowardice" is spot on.
@@carriesmith4781 They don't bear the same hatred in their hearts as you do. The same frustration. The same hopelessness. But there is hope where should be none. There is a light in the darkness. There is a reason to live for. There is a reason to take unrightousness over and over again and no take revenge and not let wrath fill your heart. It's Jesus Christ. The wrath of God will be poured out soon on this world, and it will hit almost everyone. And many, many churches will suffer from it, too and many of these hypocrits will go to hell. This is nothing nice, but the wrath of God is just. Forgive your parents or whom ever you need to forgive and seek the forgiveness of your own sins through Jesus Christ, who died for them on the cross. I like this band because it is pure hatred. I used to listen to it when i was devoured by hate, i wanted to see everyone dead. I couldn't stand the hypocrisy in this world. But i have sinned against God aswell and iam guilty of hell fire. Don't get devoured by this spirit but see that you need forgiveness, and you will find life and love and peace. If people could see the wrath of God that will be poured out on this world, they would be all scared to death. And I myself am included. But I know that God have forgiven my sins and i will be saved from his wrath. Please seek salvation, please seek Jesus.
@@BloodyVulnona Please don't deceive yourself so drastically. This has almost no musical value. Without the spirit behind it noone would listen to this. Noone who has a peaceful, harmonious life would listen to this. If you want "just music", then maybe try out some Wagner. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SRmCEGHt-Qk.html
