Mate Takafumi Imamura has been making bangers for this game since that album. All the majority of the primal tracks from Eden are by him aswell as stuff like Emerald Weapon.

I love P12's music, I couldn't stand P8(Phase 1) while progging.

Hot take but I didn't enjoy the music from 5-8 only one I enjoyed was P8S Phase 2. But this tiers music is awesome. :D

Asphodelos is the weakest part of Pandemonium by far. The raid music was so generic that they needed to bring rhe big guns with Scream

@@zelohendricks51 ancient shackles is still an awful theme even if you take that into account though. Hinc svent Leones was the only good song that tier. Ancient shackles can barely support 1 fight, let alone 3. Hesperos reusing his theme for his final phase was also a bit lame hinc svent leones is a good song but not good enough to reuse in the same fight. Overall, asphodelos had the worst raid music of any Teir since deltascape. Good thing they turned it around with the next 2. Anabasios is already better than it even though we have not even heard Athena’s final phase yet.

Love the underworld aesthetic and feeling this fight gave off, it was very eerie the way the boss devoured each soul and assimilated their personality

Heavily reccomend getting into the game then, this theme alone is really good but there's a lot more tracks that go even harder all throughout the game. I reccomend grabbing a buddy to start the game with, its a lot of fun that way :D

I literally started playing because of the music, the story and game are some nice extras thrown in ahah :')

That'd be cool but.. Compared to the actual Ivon and Shantotto we meet in game, at the end of Temple of the Fist and during the SB Black Mage quests, they do not match at all. But I do wonder if they are supposed to be callbacks, or references..

I doubt it's them specifically, especially since they both died an extremely long time ago: it definitely shouldn't take that long for souls in the lifestream to reincarnate.

Asphodelos = 辺獄 (hen-goku; "limbo" - pretty close to 地獄 ji-goku which is "inferno" or "hell", the kanji 辺 can mean "edge" or "boundary") Abyssos = 煉獄 (ren-goku; "purgatory" - the kanji 煉 can mean "to knead over fire") Anabaseios = 天獄 (ten-goku; "sky prison" ) ↑ This one has a funny word into it as it can read the same as 天国 that can actually mean "paradise" but because the kanji 国 ("land, country") can read as "goku" so is 獄 ("prison") You say it aloud as "paradise" but the very picture (kanji) before your eyes is nothing than a prison hell in the celestial heaven After coming back from playing Limbus Company during FFXIV patch downtime into this, I definitely have been so stoked about this. I think that having the souls enjoy it is a...weird choice, for the JP VA. They're being feasted on by a monstrous horror, everything about the story, and the visual and auditory language of this fight, shows Kokytos as an abomination.

10 was the hardest of them all I think because the spider web mechanic is poorly visualized (too many visuals on screen with tethers going everywhere, appearing and disappearing seemingly at random until you figure it out) and the outright noob-trap of the triangle indicator on the pole, pointing people towards the pole when they want to stay away from the pole.
