Typically 60-65% methane (CH4) and 30-35% carbon dioxide (CO2). The CO2 can also be removed to create renewable natural gas (RNG) which can be injected into natural gas pipelines.
It depends. If a fermentation step is introduced before the digester tank, then ammonia gas can be diverted to an Ammonia recovery unit, and Nitrogen could be recovered at this point. This would leave Phosphorus and Magnesium for recovery from the digester tank(s).
