The way the video starts off as a literal police report, shows that people aren't ok with this happening and want it to stop (given how many eyewitnesses there are), maybe a cop POV now? The way they show the happy faces freaks me out, almost like it was just pasted on top of the unhappy and called it a day, and the happy music in the back makes it even more unsettling. It's like someone is corrupting the tapes, but who would do that and why? But who is coming? Maria, or is this someone new? Can't wait for more updates!! (Edit; I would like to add at the end it doesn't seem like a police report anymore but more of a experiment log, and it seems like whoever is doing these experiments is happy with the outcomes due to the cheerful music, again could be way looking into this but I am an overthinker lmao) (Edit #2; Also one of the only times we saw eyes in this series is when the little silhouette man was fighting them, now we're seeing photos of these "happy children", is that what the little silhouette man was fighting? Or is it a huge mass of them together?)

This is amazing- At the beginning it sounds very much like a ‘police report voice’ and it’s also implied the happy child got loose and went on rampage? I have a theory (not really an original one) that maybe when the child is unhappy or sad, it goes into fight mode and attacks anything it deems a threat. Idk I could be wrong. Considering how strong and fast it is, maybe it was secretly made by the government for the purpose of destruction and killing their enemies?? This gives of Mandela catalogue vibes and I like it. Or it could be made by the US enemies, because why would the US government try to sell human killing robots to its civillians? Judging by the quality of video, this would probably be something from the 1960's to 1980's. Due to everyone thinking it was made by a government, and there was a very cold war during 1960's to 1980's Im going to say it was either made by the Soviet Union to infiltrate US bases, espionage or any other US enemy at that time.
Surviving against the Happy Child is definately a hard thing to do, but it’s not impossible. Here is how I’d survive: 1. Hack into its program. You want to do this because then you can code it so it doesn’t attack you. Or you can just turn it off. 2. Make a robot that can overpower it. Ever noticed that in Analog Horror, smiles are bad and frowns are good? If we can make the Happy Child, then we can make the… Unhappy Child (UC)…? The UC might help as it can still go into dark mode but it won’t attack you. It will attack the HC and perhaps overpower it. Maybe. 3. Buy a frail bed as soon as you hear about HC sightings. Now I know this may not make much sense at first but if you get one, it could actually help you. See, in this video, the HC is shown to go under peoples’ beds. If it goes under your frail bed and then you lean all your weight onto it, it could fall on the HC unexpectedly and kill it. 4. As soon as you hear the HC, don’t move. The HC can only target living things, so if you don’t move, it will think you aren’t alive. 5. Give it a balloon. In the OG video, ‘Analog Horror - Happy Child’, it went into that killer thing because it let go of its balloon. If you give it a balloon, it will calm down, and you’ll survive. 6. If you try talking to it, perhaps it will respond. In the OG video, one of the ways of taking care of HC is to “talk with them”. Maybe if you try reasoning with the HC, it will calm down. 7. Give them attention. In the OG video, it said: ‘Sure……. You need to pay attention to your Happy Child’. Maybe they feel no one is paying attention to them and that’s why they go into that killer thing. If you show them that you care, they will go back to their normal docile form. 8. Play with them. Maybe all they want is a game. 9. Stay with them. If they feel alone, that can be dangerous. Once you have tamed your HC, you need to stay with it. 10. Don’t buy it in the first place. People buy the HC mainly because they… don’t know it’s dangerous. If you inform everyone about encounters with the HC, people will stop buying them, and then, no one will die from an encounter from a Happy Child.

It looks like the happy child wants to make people happy, but switched the identification between "happy" and "unhappy," causing it to alter the human and make it fit the identification of happiness.
this whole series of infomercials feels really uncanny, the subtly off translation work, the hastily edited stock photos, it all feels like a dodgy foreign product being mass marketed, i’m not sure if it’s fully intentional or whatever but i absolutely love it! feels kinda like outsider art
Whoever made the idea of HC analog horror was a genius. Especially the HC became the UC part. It really presents the reality where some parents neglect and abusing their child, and after a long time, they eventually became 'monsters' or 'killers' out of their long, no-hope sadness.
There was one typo: “Departmen” instead of “Department” The rest was really well-made, and super spooky!! Really adds to the mysterious lore behind Happy Child entity! Why do I feel the happy and unhappy faces were mixed up? I mean unhappy were supposed to be the happy ones and the other way too. "Unhappy" face looks like passive aggressive, of course, but they look almost the same on every child. Let me explain with everyday object: chair. When we buy a chair, every chair in the store looks the same, because it was just made! It was just produced. There are some differences you might see, but mostly they look alike. But when will chairs will be different in looks? Right. When you break them. The same thing happens with happy child. The smile in "Unhappy" section looks almost the same in every picture with minor changes, because they were just made and delivered to you. Yet the "Happy" face looks different on every child, because you "broke" it. Now I will be trying to think of a real reason, why would they mix it up, if it's true

i feel like the happy children were made from real children because the creator probs sees pestilence (idk spelling anymore lol) in happiness and used real kids to make them what he thinks is "happy"
