Thank you. I learned so much from this video. You and yours remain in my prayers. My husband and I are doing what we can each month to help with humanitarian relief.
I was getting worried. You haven't posted a video in a few weeks. How are you and your family. We are thinking of you all. Great video, I've never done cards by the color wheel. I'm going to order one and try some of your ideas. Very inspiring! Stay safe!
Me too Sheila , I want to hear her say she is ok and safe these crafting videos are pre recorded. Maybe the internet is down and she can’t make contact yet. I pray this hideous war ends soon and the Ukrainian people can try and rebuild their lives and live in peace. .
I was just thinking to myself that I had not seen anything from Yana. I then was getting worried. Glad you posted Yana. Sending prayers for you and your family.
Yana…worry about you and your country every day….you are certainly in my prayers! Wow, you hit a home run with this card, love the big alpha, what fun monogram cards these would make, a set of these would be such a great gift. God Bless you and keep you in His care!
Yana, I think you have just started a new card making trend! I love the color wheel tutorial. Hands down the best explanation I’ve seen! Prayers to you all. 💕
Yana, thank you for the color lesson. I appreciate any and all help explaining the color wheel and this video is quite helpful. Hope you and your family are still safe and able to be in your home more than in your shelter. How’s Mom doing? Blessings to you and your family and always praying for peace and the end of this war.
I am so happy that you posted this video. I was concerned when I hadn’t heard from you. My prayer is that you are always safe and unharmed. As always, your cards are showstoppers. 😍🤩🤩
The analogous color combos are glorious. The purple, red and orange card took my breath away. Really! Thanks for teaching me about analogous colors and the ratios. People I’ve talked to here in the US are still angry, concerned, sad, worried re Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. This NEVER should have happened! I couldn’t stand not having a way to stop this war, so I did make a contribution to World Central Kitchen. That I could do.
A Creative Muse sent me to your video which turned out to be be very helpful. I love your vivid basic card color choices, too; it doesn't seem like many people like to move away from white/neutrals. TFS your knowledge of color wheel, too. Your cards are beautiful.
Yana it was so good 2 hear your voice. I pray u & your family r safe. Praying 4 u & your family, Ukraine. Thank u 4 this video. Have a very blessed day.
Amazing cards and I learned so much about colour theory. Will be ordering a colour wheel. So glad to see a video, was starting to worry. I continue to pray
So happy to see you posting another video and this one is spectacular. Thank you for all the hints on using the color wheel. I have had one for a long time but wasn’t aware of the technique you presented. I’m going to give it a try . Those Spellbinder flower dies are beautiful and all of your cards turned out lovely.
Wow these cards are stunning! I’m so happy to hear from you. I hope everyone is safe and well! Praying for all on your side of the world! You’ve explained the color wheel perfectly. I love all of your cards but these colors, deep and rich and saturated are my favs. Love the stitched letters too, very cute! Be well, stay safe!
Thanks for this video on color. I usually just wing it but hopefully eventually some of this theory will sink in and improve my cardmaking. Hoping you continue to be safe.
Wow! Just wow! This set of cards is so incredibly colorful and just beautifully designed! I absolutely love them! Thank you for explaining the color wheel. The color combos are gorgeous! I was finally able to order the Be Bold Blooms, as they have been sold out everywhere, and cannot wait to get them and play, but now I want that alphabet after seeing your cards! Lol. Thank you so much for sharing, praying you and your family stay safe!
These are gorgeous cards. I would love to have this entire collection of dies in my stash. Stitching on cards is so relaxing. Thanks for the color tutorial. I need to try new combinations.
This is so stunning! I love the stitches.. I do cross stitch. I just love cross stitch. Wish the letters purchased separately. (Individual). I have to go back re-join the club again. Due to budget & retired.. this is my “favorite” products. Just so elegant and beautiful! You’re such great creative and everything is so amazing! Thank you for sharing and I always watch your projects to make cards. Aloha 🫶🏼🫰🏼🤟♥️😊
Oh Yana!!! What a stunning collection of cards. And I absolutely loved the bit of colour theory in this tutorial. You are so talented. And I always look forward to another instalment from my favourite left handed crafter!!!!!! I hope you are staying safe please post again soon your videos are such great therapy for my soul!!
Hi Yana, these cards are stunning. The saturated colors are so appealing. They all have your signature flair, which I love. Thanks for an inspiring video, and I hope you and yours are well.🌷🌷
So very happy to finally hear from you!! I hope that you are safe and doing well. Worry about you and your loved ones each day! Very nice to see you crafting! Gorgeous cards as always!
Stunning! Also I have missed you - I have been praying for safety for you and your family! I have this set on order!! I am over the moon! Your incorporation of the color wheel and theory was spot on!! Thank you! Again love your channel and so happy to see you create!
Your cards are just stunning and thank you so much for the color lesson. I have had trouble understanding the color wheel. And those stitched alpha dies I really want!!! So happy to see your videos every time you post! Continuing to pray for peace and the end of this war! BIG HUGS! 💛💙🙏
Amazing cards! I love the color combinations. What great instruction. I haven’t heard of the 60/30/10 rule, but will be paying more attention to it in future cards. Your cards with these flowers have been MY favorites for the last year!
💐🥀🌺 Beautiful cards, Yana... and thank you for the tips as well. I was pleasantly surprised to see that you have been able to continue to make cards and upload videos for our enjoyment and education. I hope you and your family are safe and keep well. My good thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love, love, LOVE the colors and design of these cards! They look so wonderful! I can imagine how much time went into the die cutting, but those flowers really pop! I am awaiting delivery of my first stitching die from Spellbinders, so appreciate the tip of doubling the cardstock. Thanks for the inspiration!
I love your card making techniques! Just picked up that color wheel so thank you for the quick lesson. Continue to pray for your safety. Stay safe, Yana. You are a beaming light across the world.
Yana, these cards are so lovely! I absolutely love the deep colors…very different for you, but they remind me of Ukrainian styles I’ve seen recently. I’ve been so inspired rewatching all your videos (including watching the ads- to help you!) and I’ve loved using these flower sets to adorn my cards…they’re so beautiful and just so versatile! I haven’t got this set you’ve used here…so it’s going on my list! Sending you so much love and support! ☀️💛💙🌻
Beautiful and bright. I am learning so I appreciate you showing how you used the color wheel. I just watched a couple of color wheel videos to understand color theory. Perfect timing.
Thank you oh my. What an informative video! I'm challenged by design and color principles. Such beautiful cards!! Thank you so much for posting a new video. 💕
These are really beautiful cards. I did buy the stitched letter alphabet, but I have yet to use it. Thank you for sharing your hints and tips, it is very helpful and I’m eager to try this myself ❤️
These are beautiful. I just got my first stitch die set the other day. You are right, you need to cut more than one to mKe it sturdy enough to stitch on. My first flower fell apart, with one layer.
Best video ive seen from anyone in a long time, so very inspired! Definitely going to try to use the analogous color scheme on my next cards! Always so hard for me to chose colors!
Hi Yana! Wonderful video and beautiful cards! If you're still having trouble with your thread tangling while stitching, you can try a thread conditioner like beeswax and that might help :)
Amazing! I just ordered the full alpha and the stamp set -- now I guess I'll get the flowers (I was going to use last year's but I think they may be too small, I'll see) and the glimmer plates, I'm new to glimmer-ing, so I'll also see how that goes as well! :)
These are so amazingly beautiful - from the colors to the layout....EVERYTHING!! So I have purchased everything - including the big blooms dies X 3 so I could make a gazillion flowers at once!!!! I am hoping you can help me. I don't get how some of the flower parts go together. IS there any chance you could show us all the ways the bits and parts work? Thank you so much, Yana for your inspiration and help. You are a wonder.
thank you for this info! I do struggle sometimes with deciding on color schemes. (actually I lack confidence) this video is definitely going into my reference playlist. like some of the other commentors, I am VERY glad to see you. it's been a while and I was worried. I cannot imagine how difficult things are for all of you and I totally get that posting may be difficult and/or you may just not feel like it. no worries at all there. I just want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers {{{{{hugs}}}}}
Beautiful as always I got sucked in to order this not really I did it all on my own with hopes I can make beautiful cards like you LOL Hope you are well thinking of you
I finally got my hands on the be bold set and I am excited to try a few combos. Thanks for the color wheel info, I do struggle with getting colors to look good together. I think I pick too many colors. 😂 I did notice one big fat round leaf on your cards, I'm assuming that is from another set? I didn't have that in my set. Thanks for sharing!
I was also thinking of you as you didn’t post a video for quite a long. Please don’t be away … we love you…just say you are safe…that’s enough…stay safe dear
