Analysis Method of a Fabric sample
1) The preparation of fabric sample

Wale per cm wale can be defined as a vertical column of loops formed by a single needle.
The number of wales in the fabric equals the number of needles across
Courses per cm
course is a horizontal row of loops formed by the needles during one
The marking unit of the Yarn thickness
The Denier length measurement is 9,000 metres and thus the denier can be defined as the weight in grams of a 9,000 metres long unit of yarn
The Dtex unit is such a variation.
The unit can be defined as the weight in decigrame
(dg) of a 1,000 metre long yarn or filament (or the weight in g of a10,000m long yarn) The Tex can be defined as the weight in grams of a 1,000 m long unit of the yarn or filament (or the weight in kg of a 1,000 km unit)
unit is smaller then, thread becomes thin and unit is higher, then hread becomes thick.
In case of the high unit of Cotton yarn count thread becomes thin.
Circular specimen Weight Calculation Method
Specimen diameter of circular specimen cutter =11.3 cm.
Area of circular specimen = πr2
= 3.14X(0.113/2)² = 0.01m
Weight calculation per yard of circular specimen
0.9144m/yd×0.9144m/yd×(A g/0.01m²)
=0.836m²/yd×A g/0.01m²
=83.6×A g/yd²
Weight calculation per meter of circular specimen
1m×1m×(A g/0.01m²)=1m² ×(A g/0.01m²)=100×A g
(However, A is the weight of the circular specimen. g=grem)
Weight Calculation of Circular specimen
Weight/Yard at the finished fabric=
WC×WF×2.54×91.44÷100
Example: 1.235g×60”×2.54×91.44÷100=172g/yds
WC=The Weight of the Circular specimen(gram)
WF=the Width of the Finished fabric(inch)

It will be possible if you untie the thread in the front of the fabric first and then untie it in the order of bars.

Thanks for watching the video. A fabric band (NB) is the number of fabric weave widths. That is, if you are producing two widths at 105" on a 210" machine, NB=2. NB=3 when producing in three widths of 70" on a 210" machine. NB=2 when producing in two widths of 84" on a 168" machine. NB=1 when producing one width of 130 inches on a 130 inch machine.
