I went to the Tesla showroom in Bangkok yesterday. Great staff guy named Big (all Thais have nicknames from birth) and I talked about all things Tesla. He asked me about Project Juniper because he said his Model Y sales have slowed a bit and many, many customers have told him they're waiting for Juniper to go into production. I told him I read that Juniper was starting assembly test in Shanghai right about now and should be released in Q1 and he seemed very happy. As per Tesla policy, they don't tell the showroom staff anything confidential about product launch timelines.

With all the cars in California as they drive round the city they can build their own maps. Maps can be instantly updated to the fleet as roads are closed due to accidents os road works. Mapping as good as waymo but auto updating minute by minute.

Having run / engineered in a multi million $$ global company in profit for 40 years its always staggered me, if your NOT making profit you have NO business........basic corner shop economics, always done well by that principal, the money is in the manufacturing and Tesla will continue to smash the ACCEPTED norms on cost of manufavturing.
On the question of FSD as a pie in the sky to these analysts, does anyone of them own a Tesla? Maybe that's the problem, their investigation is not deep enough
Dan Ives is just desperate to stay in the Tesla new cycle. Like SMR has said, this guy just keeps altering his price targets to keep himself “relevant”. But he shows how ignorant he is by calling the $30k vehicle the lynch pin for Tesla. Ignoring autonomy and everything that comes after that. Sick of that guy.
FSD and a smaller model (2) are definitely within Tesla’s reach! But robo-taxi? Nice for niche market in San Francisco, but you don’t see those in the streets of Bombay, Milan, Paris of Mexico-city. It’s a Fata Morgana: it looks nice, but never achievable.
I'm afraid I have to disagree with the autonomy forecast; Tesla can make a dozen RoboTaxis show-offs and, next year, can make a few thousand to test production plus autonomy for 3 & Y, with that already killed all other competition in 2025. 2026 is for volume production.

I've been an investor in Nvidia for the past six years now because I strongly believe in the company and in the stock, but now I've been thinking of redistributing my portfolio of about $560k and buy other stocks. and asset classes. Maybe buy Tesla? They are also doing great things in the AI space. Some digital currencies too. What do you think?
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

Pay attention: retooling for the model Y willl come with disruptions in 2025, price competition in China and the rest of the world will increase through smaller models than teslas'. Those will be more adatpated to latin america, africa and asian markets, where corolas where still kings. The kinds of the Geely Geome, once done right, will break everything.
