The mid-range shot is important in close games. Players with a good mid-range game are highly paid and rare to find. Why? Because it takes coaching effort and persistence to produce them. Like the skilled low post players.

yes, so you should make clear WHEN and WHY. but there is no need to chase these shots. In the clutch or out of PnRs. its the exception that proves the theory
