Analyzing Lloyd's Visions in Dragons Rising S2 

If we line up the vision of Kai and Sora at the dojo and Euphrasia being sacrificed, there’s one key thing missing here: Wyldfyre. In the actual episode Wyldfyre is the one who frees the monks which is why Euphrasia wasn’t sacrificed, so little things like a character being in a specific place is enough to alter the course of Lloyd’s visions

There's 2 moons in the new show. So while the blood moon in the Wyldness rises one a millenia, the other blood moon could rise sooner.

Its so cool seing that Beatrix is still on Lloyds mind, instead of being forgotten like the majority of villains in the past. Same with Sora. It makes the Seasons feel a lot more connected when they remember past foes or events

Man, seeing these visions for the first time creeped the heck out of me. You don’t really get that kind of vibe since the Oni Trilogy.

I think the motion dragon isn’t actually the villain because one of their key lines is ‘we will start him on the path’ which hasn’t been fully explained yet but I think the path is what transcends across the seasons to come. We already had the energy source dragon last season and now we move to the motion source dragon, each season will focus on one and the motion dragon is just the next step of the path.

One thing I noticed about the first half of the season is that there are a lot of teapot references. There is the girl snake that throws a golden teapot at the ninja and then when the Magician is going through stuff in the mushroom house She throws out another golden teapot. None of these are the teapot of tyrann because neither of the teapots look the same as it but it still feels strange. There’s another teapot reference in one of the sets. The teapot of tyrann is actually in the dragon shrine set. I don’t know if I’m just overthinking this, but I feel like it’s possible this could be foreshadowing for Nadakhans return. They have been teasing his return for years now. But also maybe it’s not foreshadowing and I’m just overthinking it. The Ninjago writers love to blue ball Skybound fans

I have some theories for Arin, in the tournament, he fights with Sora, and the trust is revealed, and Arin isn't mad about the Sora took his win, its the fact Sora let him live this lie, my other theory is that Arin goes to train with Egalt and Rontu, where he starts over his training as a first fang ninja, where not only does he learn regular Spinjitzu, something he needs, but also a more refined version of his own spinjitzu, and learn why his technique was so wonky before, and my last, is the reason why he punches someone in the vision, is because he's tired of hearing the same thing over and over again, and how he has the potential to be the greatest ninja, Lloyd keeps putting him up on a throne, thats made of cardboard, and he gets angry with someone around him. Thats all of my theories on Arin

I really like the theory that arin might cave under his anger and either use a wolf mask or learn "SHATTER SPIN" as Ras says it

I honestly thought that it was the source dragon of strength that would be the master. This is because when training cinder, Ras talks about how strength is what’s most important.

To be honest I also have an inkling Ras' Master is a Source Dragon (or at the very least heavily linked to them) also because when Ras begs his master to help, the energy that transports him and his army + the Shadow Dojo has a similar color scheme to the energy Jordana extracted from the Imperium/Energy Source Dragon. Same with the visions Ras have, it's that same orange/golden hue. However I don't think it's the Dragon of Motion, the Energy One was practically begging for them to help Lloyd and they could have easily refused, but instead started them on the path to learn Rising Dragon Technique. If they were the mastermind, they wouldn't have done it. Not all of the Source Dragons speak in the vision, so it's impossible to have all of their personalities. The Energy one is seeking to repay his debt for Lloyd, the Motion one seems careful, and eventually accepts after "sensing danger from the mortals", "Life" simply gives exposition, and "Strength" one is being very arrogant, saying Lloyd "doesn't seem much" and that "mortals cannot possibly reach them there." It could be arrogance, it could also be them just being like "Oh we're safe we don't have to do anything" to lower the others' guard and catch them by surprise. But it's a theory based on... Not much, admittedly. The only thing we can be certain about Ras' Master is that they have a link to the Wyldness in some way (Ras is born there, and the Gong of Shattering has their face on it iirc). Another nice detail in these visions is that the sword Beatrix uses is the Crystalized Golden Weapons mold used in the sets only now from stone and with a little blade piece in it.

I think the shot of rontu under the blood moon’s purpose has already come to pass as it was what made Lloyd remember what she said which was crucial for unlocking rising dragon technique

I think rontu appearing in the final vision is just a way of lloyd remembering she told him to let the visions pass as theu should and not fight them

I doubt Ras master is a source Dragon since he recruited Jordana at the end of S1 because she collected the Imperium SD energy. Why would he need her if his master is a SD and could lend him enegy? If they end up revealing his master is a Source dragon I hope they don't forget to explain that. For the moment I think this will be like a case of Oni and Dragons being counterparts, Ras master could be counterpart being to Source Dragons with similar powers

I believe that the second version of Beatrix we saw in Lloyd's vision is the exact same one as the actual Beatrix variant we all know, she just doesn't have her shoulder pads and cape which I believe is an animation mistake.

In the last vision when he see Beatrix in her old outfit it may mean just vision of past, present and feature that Lloyd accept.

I have also interpreted Lloyd’s visions as an allegory for anxiety. LEGO Ninjago has a way of making fantasy or sci-fi versions of real issues in a way that is easily graspable.

This could’ve been another cool addition apart from the visions: If he isn’t having a vision and is just sleeping at a time, show more of his struggles or something, basically him having dreams. I only bring this up because Lloyd referenced Morro in s1 ep5 and I say that because well that’s probably the worst thing he’s ever experienced, being possessed. It wasn’t touched on much in any part of the show really but it was in that one book forget what it’s called but it probably makes sense now. Obv not complaining about what we got by any means. I’m not sure if I said this on ur channel recently or someone else’s or maybe even on this video I don’t remember 😭 If it was a source dragon, it wouldn’t make sense to only have one to be Ras’s master. Besides, multiple didn’t talk in ep3 and the source dragon of motion wasn’t the only one reluctant to helping Lloyd

Something that I had mistaken in dragons rising wich I do wish kinda happened is. 1 in the episode where they find Zane I thought it was pixel not Zane.

I agree with the theory that a source dragon is Ras's master, but I think its the source dragon of strength, not motion, because Ras talks about strength a lot. I also agree with the Arin turns evil theory because of that one 'spoiler' video they put out. They said that ____ joins Ras, a lot of us thought it was Jay, but now I'm thinking it's Arin. We also know theres gonna be some sort of tournament that involves the source dragons, so my running theory is Arin trains under the source dragon of strength and unknowingly helps Ras or smth idrk though.

When you think about it tye symbol of motion looks like tye crown of the creature pictured on gong of shattering and if tmyou remenber in s1 the SD symbol is technically the crown of that dragon like how tye energy source dragon had his symbol as a crown like in lloyd vision .plus .the gong is said to have tye pic of ras master

I think the Motion Dragon is a hint to who made the rising dragon move. Honestly I think tye the Strength Dragan is behind this and is going rogue.

Ras's master being a source dragon is a good theory but I dont think its the red one cuz she was the 1 who helped lloyd and started him on the path. Why would she help him and make an obstacle on her for way right? It might be one of the other source Dragons or maybe the red one helped him because she wants to seem like a good one. But overall I don't think Ras's master is a source dragon and completely different thing.

Hey Crusty, great video. U may remember me saying I HATE when reboots take place. While I still don't think it's the best ninjago's been, Dragons Rising is still better than anything we've had in a while. I hate nostalgia blindess but I only just realised that about euphrasia replacing morro (still not happy about that tho) and arin sora and wyldfire keeping Jay on the sidelines for now. I don't think the source dragons, any of them, are ras' master, but I'm still speculating. Ty
