Yes! The originals are perfect!! :D Glad that was brought up. Soooo many people look past those and only know the parodies. Haha

Thanks for showing this clip. Sometimes the best video is off topic. I enjoyed the flow and interaction between you and your guests.

Being the vinyl guy, I am surprised that you didn't mention a special property of Weird Al vinyl releases. If you look closely at the dead wax in the center of the record, there is usually an amusing message inscribed there. For example, his first album (which I bought on vinyl when it was first released in the 80's, and I was delighted when I discovered this) has "Eat your broccoli!" and "An accordion is a terrible thing to waste". I have no idea if the squeezebox has these messages, but the original releases sure did! And yes, Al is amazing and has been right from the start. His band is no less impressive, they are incredible musicians. But think about it: most bands just have to sound like themselves on stage. Weird Al and his band have to sound like anyone and everyone on stage, and that takes serious chops. The live shows are always worth catching if you can.

Now I've got to go check the deadwax on my records when I get home! Thanks for mentioning this! :)

Two of his originals are my all time favourites. 'Dare to be Stupid' and 'Hardware Store' which is manic!

His Polka tracks are genius. I often seek out the original of what he's used and prefer what he did with it.

❤ Weird Al! Took the whole family to a few of his shows. Been a fan since I was a kid in the 80s.

I find myself laughing when listening to his albums. Even is originals aren't serious and it's refreshing to listen to something that isn't so serious.

Rick “ Rock-N-Roll Hoochie Koo” Derringer produced Weird Al’s first 6 albums. He also played the solo on “ Eat It “.

Please do a video on the Grateful Dead's Aoxomoxoa? Differences between the '69 & '71 mixes (all songs are drastically different) It could be on the recently released 50th anniversary edition which contains both versions.

You all look like you're from a different decade. You from the 50-60s, the one with the mullet maybe 80's, the yellow jacket 90's and the two on the right from 2000's
