As a Bengali I don't think that, I live in a democratic state , everyone is being brainwashed just by monthly 1000/500rs of lakhmi bhandar or shikhashri and all that , the most sad part is no one is pointing the fact that this short term income is killing our state ,economy is falling, health conditions are falling,once west bengal was taken as the craddle of art,culture and education of our country, but those are just mere history now.

Democracy was not in danger when Wqkf board was given power to snatch land from anyone and nobody could even go to court to get their land back. Is this wakf act democratic? This is a tight slap in face of democracy. I could not understand how SupermeCourt has not take suo moto action on Wakf act. When would justice be delivered? And also what is stopping BJP from demolishing this Wakf act?
Supreme court is not fair in so many issues.But, in some cases against the ruling party,it shows its power . Even this day, innocent patta lands of Hindus are being transferred to wakf board by the registration department of Tamilnadu. You can not det your land unless you file a writ petition at high court .
Bjp needs 2/3 seats in LS to remove Waqf Board Act which has been made a part of constitution by Congress. I am also from Bengal and I reiterate the same. It is not as unsafe in Bengal as portrayed in mainstream media. In fact it is much safer than most of our neighbouring states and Delhi and Haryana for that matter.
